Well, to be fair, Russia has now repeatedly used Iranian and North Korean missiles to strike Ukrainian cities and civilian infrastructure so Russia is apparently just fine with that being part of the rules of this war. It seems fair that Ukraine be allowed to retaliate in kind with its own foreign obtained long range weapons. I'm not sure why we have restrained them for months after Russia escalated to doing this.

Honestly it's long overdue and will strengthen Trump's hand in trying to find a negotiated settlement. The slow bleed Biden has been utilizing was designed to enrich the MIC and their patrons. This will bring peace sooner and be much more humane for the Ukranians.

Why is it ok for Russia to use Iranian weapons, Chinese weapons, and North Korean weapons and soldiers on Ukraine, but Ukraine can't do the equivalent to Russia? That's an LBJ/McNamara level of stupidity

Doesn't change the framework in the slightest. Still a war of self defense. Russia is continuously striking Ukrainian civilian infrastructure from standoff positions deep inside Russia that Ukraine otherwise has no means of threatening/countering. You can't fight a war of self defense if you're prohibited from acting defensively.

Unfortunately, that's the way the Brandon administration has conducted things from square one, and consequently why this entire thing has been a consistent train wreck. Neither the US nor Ukraine has benefited from the strategy we've seen employed.

We're nowhere near WW3 at this particular moment and I don't see a realistic scenario under which that happens. Russia isn't going to directly attack the US or NATO over anything that happens in Ukraine under the current scenario.
