Coders are getting laid off... "Learn to write," maybe
Dude - if they can't code, they damn sure can't write.

Writing is much more difficult.

Coding doesn't have to make sense. In fact, many believe they have job security by intentionally making it NOT make sense.
Uh not these days in any professional shop. if your code is not maintainable or readable your ass is gone and rightly so.
Does this apply to Indians too?

It doesn't appear to in my org.

I read the WSJ online. But I also get it delivered. Costing me $10 per month (still get the student price).

More than worth it to have the paper to clean windows and light the BBQ grill. Of course the ink isn't as good for windows anymore.

My MIL, who recently passed, was paying $600/year for the SA Express News! What a rag.

But you are right, those guys/gals are rapidly dying off and will never go online to read.

I saw this interview last night and watched it with my jaw on the floor for a lot of it. Soon was adamant that the paper had been one sided and hard left and was determined to hire more conservative voices to give both sides of the debate. Wanted to get to the facts only. Could have knocked me over with a feather.

Good on Soon for taking this on. He better be ready for a fight.
That's not the right answer either. Just hire good journalists. The news isn't about left or right. It's about facts...period. But it's hard to find good journalists.

What is sad is that now we have to have two sides of every story instead of the truth that was the staple of journalism. The shift to the left started with University Journalism Departments teaching leftest leanings, contaminating and subverting the truth for the cause of leftism.

I've always thought this a dumb take, but it's makes sense that rightists would prefer this be true. In my opinion, the shift rightists complain about is because all these media outlets saw how well Fox News was at there prime time opinion shows and decided they wanted to shoot for the other half of the pie.
