Voting issues have been reported, including a judge forcing extended hours because of machine failure
The extended voting hours is in a county which voted 69% for Trump in 2020.
"If you will not fight for right when you can easily win without blood shed; if you will not fight when your victory is sure and not too costly; you may come to the moment when you will have to fight with all the odds against you and only a precarious chance of survival. There may even be a worse case. You may have to fight when there is no hope of victory, because it is better to perish than to live as slaves." - Sir Winston Churchill

Exactly. Win MI and we don't have to wait for PA.

If he wins NH, then you can turn out the lights and go to bed early.

That's the play because then she has no path except sweeping rust belt and one of the sun belts.

Not unless Michigan, Minnesota are called first for trump.

Even if they are, and every other State goes their respective ways, it will still come down to PA

Why would it matter when it's called? Doesn't ever citizen deserve it have their vote counted even if it takes time?

Also, it's not as if when Trump has been running that it sometimes took longer hours of not a day or so to count votes.

On top of that, there are much more people voting these past couple of elections than prior ones, so it just makes sense it'll take longer. Not everything is a conspiracy.
More people voting ELECTRONIC does not add DAYS to counting process.

Before 2020, it was done on election night in most states. Now, suddenly it takes several days for this to get done.

FL is much larger than GA or NV or AZ yet they get done by 10 PM.

Their (Florida) system should be copied by the other states.

That doesn't take away the fact that the other states aren't doing anything illegal by doing things at a slower pace.

Again, some states being slower isn't anything new. Is it frustrating, sure as sh*t it is, but it's nothing new or illegal.

True. You could swap pa/mi and get the same result. If Michigan gets called earlier for trump, and he has already won NC, ga, and Arizona, the race is over

There is zero reason for a state (Nevada) to allow ballots to come in for three days post election without a postmark.

Zero.

There is no reason that today, and with today's technology, and with the advances we have made, they the voting shouldn't be done today…. Florida will be done today. They are much bigger than all of these other states that have the the problems counting their votes.

Nobody is saying they don't want all the votes counted. But I am saying. And most others are saying that the delays bring a distrust of the fairness of the elections process. It brings thoughts of cheating… and it 100% opens the door to the possibility of fraud.

If you all are seeing a tweet go viral with a bunch of squares next to names with a pre-printed dot next to Kamala Harris, the tweet is not showing a ballot from Pennsylvania. Pennsylvania uses ovals and the ballot looks nothing like that.

India, a country with a population of 1.5 billion, four times the size of the U.S., announces their election results the same night as the election.

There is no good reason for any state in this country to not be able to count and announce by midnight tonight.

Nevada delivers a mail-in ballot to every voter. What people are tracking are the ballot returns not the requests. They have in person options.

The ruling about not needing a postmark after election day theoretically means that the Democrats can continue to canvas and have people fill out ballots after election day is over once they realize how many votes they need.

That being said I still have not gotten clarification as to whether they will allow in person drop off of these ballots or whether they have to arrive via the mail.

If they arrive via the mail it would take a pretty big conspiracy among post office employees to deliberately not postmark these.
So what's stopping Republicans from doing the exact same thing so that number of votes they need keeps going up incrementally?

Here's an interesting data points. Because the margin going into election day is so much narrower in PA they are saying Kamala needs 700k in Philly. Problem is Biden only got 600k in 2020 and Hillary only got 560k.

KY, not in play. Just drove by a couple polling stations in the area and the men are finally starting to show up. Many coal miners still in gear. Hopefully a late male push as more females in my opinion were able to go at lunch or earlier in the day.

Serious question..

Why are we just assuming the Others will vote for trump?

No one is assuming that they'll all vote for Trump or all vote for Harris, the assumption is that they'll split and the feeling is that the split is more favorable than usual toward the R's
And they largely cancel themselves out. Even IF Kamala magically got 65% of those, based on 43.4 votes that is only a net of 13000 votes. Add that to the 22.7 dem and she is still down. (Hint- she wont get close to 65% of those)

A WARNING ON THE EXIT POLLS

I should pin this, but I'm not going to pin it, so just pay attention and please remember this warning...

Do not put a ton of stock in NEP, CES or VoteCast Exit Polls. Take them with a grain of salt WHETHER THEY ARE GOOD OR BAD for your candidate.

They are revised MULTIPLE times including after Election Day, and have been wrong more than right in the modern era.

In 2000, Florida was bogusly called for Gore, who thought he was going to win.

He lost.

In 2004, Team Kerry was celebrating certain victory after he got them, showing that he was even going to win Virginia, Florida and Ohio. Tim Russert was BEAMING!

Kerry lost all three, and the election.

2016, Hillary Clinton was ahead in EVERY single battleground state,

She lost ALL of them, plus some others and the election.

In 2020, Biden won, except only four days later. His lead was not nearly as large as Exit Polls suggested.

In 2022, Republicans looked unbeatable in the first and second waves back in 2022.

They underperformed, especially in key states and lost those elections.

Now, please go back and reread A WARNING ON THE EXIT POLLS above.
