BLM activists are saying she should have been tazed or subdued with a stun gun.

"Sydney Wilson should have been tazed, instead, but of course, she was black, so they took her out," according to the post.

Georgetown is honoring her.

I have timestamped the Matt Walsh news report and analysis

It is under the chapter: BLM Activists Mourn Woman Who Died Trying To Stab An Officer To Death

Walsh says: body cameras shut down another BLM narrative before it even gets started.

BLM is not mentioned in that article.
"If you will not fight for right when you can easily win without blood shed; if you will not fight when your victory is sure and not too costly; you may come to the moment when you will have to fight with all the odds against you and only a precarious chance of survival. He says it, but there's no citation or tweet or statement or anything else to back it up. It's no different than the OP.

So there was a Tweet mourning her loss, but with no mention of the details. Again, this whole case seems to have gone under the radar until the bodycam video was released.

I wish you better luck tomorrow in finding actual BLM outrage, outrage that predates the video release.

This whole narrative of because she was black she was shot is getting really old. Do you know who gets shot? People who resist arrest or try to attack cops. I don't give a rats ass what color they are. I am so sick of this constant racism from the left. It's literally all they live for.

Yes, I know. You can find plenty of my posts about it over the years when police shootings get brought up. This shooting was completely justified and the cop should have shot sooner than he did.

The point I and others have been making is that the OP claimed "BLM lied about Sydney Wilson" and yet there is no evidence BLM, or any group calling itself BLM, said a peep about it. The basketball team she played for in college said something, and random people on social media did, but that is not "BLM."

The only people who are bringing BLM into this are people on the right. In this case, BLM did the smart thing and stayed out of it because it was not one they could score any points off.

Should have shot sooner, but also shows that 9mm just doesn't always get the job done right away, and why a mag dump is often necessary.

If I was a cop, I'd be carrying a 10mm or a .45ACP.
Stopping power is a myth in handgun rounds. Handgun rounds do not have enough power to create hydrostatic shock, like rifle rounds do. None of the popular handgun rounds have 'stopping power'. The difference between rounds is extremely small. Ballistics gel tests show very similar wound cavities, and official data on the 1 shot stop statistics, along with the failure rate, and most all statics show that all handgun rounds from .380 up are about equally effective.

Given that all the data shows all the handgun calibers are about equal in effectiveness you could argue that 9mm is more effective because it has less recoil, faster follow-up shots, and carries more rounds.

There is a reason why most police carry 9mm, and the reason is most people are better with 9mm. Carry what works best for you and your situation. Carry on.

No one is defending BLM.

People are saying the OP's claim about BLM going off about this shooting since it happened is false and he has yet to provide any proof otherwise.

It pretty much doesn't matter, especially with pistol caliber rounds out of a pistol platform. All perform very close to the same, and things like this show that the hollywood acting when getting shot is just that - acting and special effects.

You need structural or CNS system damage to put somebody down quickly. Anything other than that and they have the ability to continue moving and attacking or fighting until bleedout comes into play.
Man didn't NW80 teach you anything?

If I remember it right, 9mm victims were in a panic. .45 victims were docile.

Right,

So if I read this thread right the logic went something like.... Link BLM to a story where there is no known associations.....get called out for making that link......people who call it out get blamed for defending BLM....of course concerned moderates.

But the most important goal for the OP is that at least some people read it and believed it. Truth doesn't matter. It happens all day every day on this board.

Nope, try again.

As I told the OP, BLM is not mentioned in the article from Mynbc15.

Despite the fact he altered the quote from the article about the stun gun, BLM is never once mentioned.

The actual quote about the stun gun is this.

"A few defended Wilson. On Facebook, one person said Wilson should not have been killed but subdued by a stun gun."

Basically the OP, and now you, are saying anyone who said anything about shooting that wasn't on the side of the police must be "BLM", but have not presented any evidence to back up that claim. Some random person on Facebook, or a basketball team is not "BLM."

What difference does it make if they are officially BLM associated? Is that technicality really meaningful? Are we going to let the people who push Race hoax's off the hook because the perpetrators were not super duper official BLM card caring members?

Or is it an opportunity for said concerned moderates to virtue signal to the rest of us how much smarter they are than everyone else because they never ever would ever fall for stuff?

Because when you make an argument based on a lie or incorrect information it is not logically defendable. It's not necessary and makes you not credible in any educated debate. It may work for the masses but lot with educated people. Or courts. Or reporting.

I used to tell managers all the time when dealing with tough customers 'don't do anything I can't defend.' Lying or misrepresenting someone's position is not defendable, even if you are right.

Some people did try to misrepresent the shooting as a tragedy, and although they were not proven to be BLM, they acted the same way BLM acts.

It would be like anti facisism protestors causing problems then denying they are antifa because they arent officially a part of an antifa organization.

Calling them BLM may have been sloppy, but they are BLM types. I don't get why we have to pretend they arent.
