This is the best policy speech I have ever heard on the issue of illegal immigration.

Immigration/border security is the 2nd most important topic behind only the economy/inflation/prices according to every major poll for the 2024 election.

JD Vance was in attendance for this speech and spoke right afterwards. Hopefully if elected, JD Vance would listen to and implement some of the speaker's policy ideas.

How about we deport Chinese cranes down at the waterfront as well. Would be a great start.

I saw Trump mention this on his Truth timeline.

Is remigration the same thing as deportation?

Yes, as long as they all continue to live in your household and be supported by your dollars (including their kids and the kids needs (school etc)).

This is where I fall...deporting EVERYONE who ever came in illegally would actually upend this country in many ways imo...I don't think people have thought this through TBH. Deport those who came in in the last 4-5 years, plus those with serious criminal records??? I am FULLY on board. But I have a coworker whose dad is a great man but came in here illegally probably 5 decades ago. I do not think people realize what deporting ALL illegals would entail. Many people on here are connected with some illegals at least within a few degrees, and don't even know it.

Normally yes. These are not normal times though. I think we need to slow down on legal immigration as well for a while. This country needs to recover from having our borders dissolved for 4 years.

Kamala and the left will shed crocodile tears that we would deport all those illegals.

When this happens it needs to be made very clear every single time that we are cleaning up THEIR mess. THEY CAUSED THIS.

The left owns the burden this country has been given and they own the consequences, which is the deportation of their illegals.

Deport them all. They are all part of the problem. If he is such a great man, he can either help his home country or request to enter legally.

At some point the SCOTUS will need to get involved because all illegal aliens currently receive the benefit and protection of the constitution, which is really going to hamper any serious effort for mass deportations.

If this isn't a what would Jesus do kind of thing, I don't know what is.

As for deporting them all, why not just make it to where if they weren't born here, even if they served the military to become citizens, they have to go as well?

I mean, if we're going to have an America for Americans, might as well go all in, que no?

Honestly, Jesus didn't really seem to care about certain things. He was here for only a short time and was ONLY concerned with building his father's heavenly kingdom. If pressed, I could honestly see him saying something like "if you are here illegally and they tell you to go back, go back, so that you may spread my word to those ancestors and countrymen you will be reconnecting with" or something like that lol.

In the New Testament it tells slaves (typically indentured servants at that time) to submit to their masters and for women to submit to their husbands. I think most people who are unfamiliar with scripture just assume it's a bunch of bleeding heart hippie stuff.

If you don't deport them, then you haven't done anything to fix the problem of them being here. Where will they work? Live? Who's going to pay to set them up? If they stay then the Marxists in charge will have achieved everything they set out to do. It's time to get hard and actually fix the problem..deport them.

Really? Or is it just God allowing the world to take its natural course, good or bad? Immigrants taking over the America is what started this country. I'm all for closing the border and sending back anyone here illegally. What I am unsure about is these arguments that they are taking jobs from Americans. What jobs? I'm not sure these are jobs most Americans are clamoring for and I have a feeling that some employers are going to get hurt if deportations morph into affecting those with temporary work visas.

Mass deportation sounds like a good plan in theory....In theory its never been done at this scale. Blaming God for everything doesn't make sense.

I am refuting the poster's appeal to Jesus as some sort of "gotcha" for allowing immigrants to overrun run the country.

Your assertion that "immigrants" started this country is unequivocally false. This country was built by pioneers and colonists. Immigrants came after this country was built and bled for.

Mass deportations are feasible and necessary. I am not concerned about the employers who benefit from undercutting Americans with foreigners willing to live in slums and work for pennies. Americans have long done hard jobs, but they will not do them for slave wages that immigrants accept while being subsidized with our tax dollars. Further, my concerns with immigration do not consist wholly of economic arguments of which immigrants are a net drain on every metric except GDP.

More importantly, where's the American who owns the yard service company the immigrant works for going to find Americans to do the same job at the same pay. And if they need to pay the American worker more, guess who's paying the difference? Hint: not the owner of the business. He's passing that on to you.

Foreign born workers increased from 26 million in Q1 21 to 31 million in Q3 24.

A 5 million increase in foreign born workers when 20 million have crossed the border; 25% labor force participation rate at low-skilled wages is not gonna cover their costs.

You have way more faith in our workers than most do here. There's countless of threads where those same Americans are bashed for being lazy and not finding jobs.

Me, I didn't mind when companies raised their prices to help pay their workers more, but there were plenty on here that didn't like the increase in prices they'd have to pay because of it.

Still, again, I may not completely (I do to a degree) agree with you, but I like that you've put a lot of thought into this and aren't just parroting whatever talking points the social media and news places you go to, spew out.

Birthright citizenship is one of the most controversial precedent Supreme Court interpretations.

We should start will all of the criminals Biden/Harris let in. That's at least a few million. That's going to be aggressive deportation. They should be immediately taken to the airport and removed.

Everyone is who the Dems let in the past 4+ years to start. Cut off all of the welfare of all illegals, regardless how long they have been here immediately. Kick them out of their free shelter (hotels, rentals, etc). Cut of their free debit cards, food, etc. You offer $10k for them to get on the plane. That's the cheaper way than continuing to pay for these people. We can do both things at once.

Your coworker's Dad is not going to be deported. Plus, I bet he's not on welfare either. No foreigner should be on welfare in the US. I don't care how long they have been here.

I'm still astonished that anyone thinks we're ever going to deport tens of millions of people. Or even a serious part of that number. I think that'll happen around the same time our national debt gets back to 0. As soon as the next Dem is elected they'll all come back in anyway.
