The new AI controlled drones will have no electronic connection to those who launch them at airports and drive a half hour away before it strikes a jet liner waiting on a taxiway. They will not be easily caught and they know it, so makes them all the more willing to act. However, I disagree they will disobey their handlers, because they receive too much of their living money from them. My estimate is we see this in 3 to 5 years. Once it happens at a few airports, who's going to be the next person to board a plane and sit there on a runway like a sitting duck? Nobody. This will shut down our airports in their entirety for a very long time. This is a black swan event that will be devastating to our economy and stock markets. This is much more likely than a rouge nuclear attack, IMO and just a matter of time. How much time?
Very nice point, not trying to minimize it but all I could think while reading this was "Buy Greyhound stock, lots of it."
