From a high ranking military friend:
Credible threat in the US. Iranian terror cells to be activated as early as next week to disrupt the US electrical grids and play havoc on election.

Friend is telling close friends.

Staff - I don't know anymore than I just posted but, I felt like I should post as a warning to the community. Maybe someone on here or at TexAgs can validate what's out there. Surely if my friend knows, others would know such as law enforcement.

Hopefully you can leave this up and others can add to it.

I don't want to cause a panic, but I'm pretty rattled.

ETA: Five cells total. Location unknown. Ultra Light aircraft, bombs and high powered weaponry.

Friend told daughters to avoid large crowds on Monday and Tuesday.

An attack within the US, especially by people who entered illegally, would pretty much ensure Harris goes down in flames.

Iran would much rather have Harris as president.

This seems extremely unlikely. I'm generally of the same political persuasion as most on this forum but there is a ton of "WW3 is about to happen any minute!!!!" type hysteria that's almost always incredibly overblown around here. Some imminent "big thing" is always just around the corner. I guess we'll see..

coordinated conventional acts of violence, sabotage and mis/disinformation meant to confuse and disrupt...with plausible deniability perhaps.

And it wouldn't take much to convince the establishment that Trump is behind it all.

I agree. Don't shoot the messenger. I'm not on social media, but wanted to let my fellow Ags know. I hate this kind of stuff and wish I hadn't heard it.

Guy on Shawn Ryan podcast made an excellent point. He said that it would be stupid for anyone to attack us now while the borders are wide open and they can continue to get people in here with no issue. Once the borders are closed, that is when to expect something like this. One surefire way to ensure they can't get any more terrorists in to the US is to do something like this while the border is open.

Makes a whole lot of sense to me.
