That's like 15 ****ing people to carry a small log like 40 feet. And they probably think they're being productive.
Looks like only one of them knows how to use a chainsaw.Fenrir said:

Typical of government workers. After one of the hurricanes, in our area the power was out for 12 or 13 days. They eventually had truckloads of stuff to hand out, but local people needed to do the distribution. It was in the parking lot of the football stadium. Several of us showed up, there were two groups, each handing out to a line of vehicles. One group was ordinary citizens, the other was police department, fire department, sheriff's deputies.Fenrir said:

Catching up on this thread. How do I reconcile what I'm seeing in those videos with the death toll reported by officials? Seems like the same thing as COVID where deaths are categorized across multiple buckets.
If someone dies of complications from diabetes because their insulin expired with no power, they died of Helene.
If someone died because they couldn't use their CPAP machine with no power, that's Helene.
If someone died because they ran out of water, that's Helene.
Wtf am I missing? And why can't they "dual tag" deaths to get a proper estimate.
