Kamala is going to test my theory

I've stated to people and may have even posted I thought most experienced D politicians other than a mentally degrading Biden beats Trump.

K Harris is definitely going to test my theory. She was not chosen as the VP running mate because of her resume. As VP they effectively hid her from the public for 3.5 years until they simply had no choice after Biden finally stepped down. They didn't even hedge their bets and start getting her out to face the public a year or so ago when the Ds had to know things weren't heading in a good direction for Biden. Then to top it off, her big role as VP, the border has been a disaster.

I'm really surprised they went with Kamala. What a mess the last several elections have been in terms of choices. Kamala is terrible.

I really wish Trump would flip flop on his fiscal plans. I think he could change my mind

She's not the nominee yet. No reason to assume anything.

Trump will need to run a disciplined campaign to win.

I'm really not sure what's happening right now. Either:

1) They don't have anyone else better than Kamala

2) They weren't prepared for Bidens sudden "collapse" and this is all a stop gap plan

3) It doesn't matter who the hell the run, the fix is in and rampant cheating and voting by illegals will give them the presidency again

Hoping for one of the first 2…

The media is lining up behind Harris. Truly amazing. Will make this a much closer race than it would have been.

I am not. It's Obama 2.0 3.0

She will be his puppet and if elected will complete the degradation (transformation) of America to a socialist hell hole.

Edited.

And neither does intelligence and Harris. She was an idiot in 2020 and still is today. She is a terrible debater and cant speak worth a damn. She is an ineffective DEI hire and yet some of y'all act like we are beaten.

She finished LAST in her field in 2020. Even the media, which only 14% of the people trust, cant save her. This is for Trump to lose. She is not going to win it.

I think better is relative. Her resume reads in charge of
border failure. Not losing marbles

As far as I'm concerned the R party should stop talking cheating at this point. Trump claimed it before the 2020 election and could not stop it. He went thru numerous courts and other channels and could not prove it after, and over the last 4 years he's only continued to claim when everyone from Bill Barr to his campaign lawyer and so on says there's no campaign changing cheating happening

Biden painted them into this corner when he DEOLI hired her.

He initially said he'd pick a woman, then he shoved his pandering foot in his mouth at the altar of St George Floyd and said his VP would be a woman of color.

Obama was probably face palming. And 4 years later, here they all are. Looking at their roosting chickens.

Sute the hard left will fall in line, but recall this gal was HATED by them in their primary. The last time the Dems got to democracy her, they ran her out of town in a hurry. This truly could be about who can hold their nose.

I posted after the assassination attempt that I thought for the first time Trump could win. I'm back to believing Trump will lose. Dems will vote dem no matter the nominee. After what happened in 2020 I have no reason to believe a republican can get elected.

Yup. Back to the usual rhetoric 2 weeks after an assasination attempt. They have no honor and never will.

Remember after the debate, when F16 said, "I can't believe they are rallying behind Biden, I can't believe he isn't dropping out". Then he dropped out. Now, it's "I can't believe it's gonna be Kamala". Just bc all the news outlets and everyone around you is accepting Kamala as the official nominee, doesn't guarantee she will be officially nominated.

The dems absolutely had no other choice but to get behind Kamala after she got endorsed by Biden/Clintons. Then dem leaders follow, bc they are puppets doing what they are told. This keeps the media in check, up into the DNC. The alternative would be mayhem, and that's not acceptable.

Maybe you're right, that would make sense. Perhaps they felt they could get behind her for what, 1 month and see how it goes then make a real decision August 19th.

If so, mark me back down as Trump probably loses

Kamala was handpicked by the dem old guard who has been there for 35 years. She's groomed for this. They wanted her to run against Trump last election. But Biden was Obama's puppet. If you remember, Kamala destroyed Biden in the debates (lil girl on school bus lie), but then was destroyed by Tulsi.
That allowed Obama to save Biden and get him over the finish line.
That dem OG brokered the deal to get Kamala on Biden's ticket. now here she is, ready to go. And imo team-Obama is now probably trying to deal on his endorsement and get some representation on the Harris ticket, and make sure he stays bulletproof. And the dem OG is Clinton btw.

Trump needs to stick to not debating until a candidate is named.
He needs to start throwing out MIchelle as the next candidate.
Make them name somebody.
No reason to play by the rules.

I think a strong argument could be made that Trump peaked in the days between getting shot and picking his VP. That iconic pic, for a brief moment he was reserved, and it seemed the country was somewhat brought together. Then he picked Vance, galvanizing women against them, and then he ruined a great speech by rambling off script.

The Trump camp could have played the Biden scenario much better than they did. It's blasphemy to say that on F16, but it's true. They need get their ish together asap.

Trump has always been what he is. He's always been off the cuff, ego, and scattered. I remember him on the cover of magazines, tabloids, going on Oprah or Letterman back in the 1980s.

He's exactly what you'd think 35 years later except he's a bit too old to pull of the playboy image he use to sell back then. So now he sells populism

And his fiscal plan for the US is downright scary, like the democrats

The problem with OP's theory is that Biden was already losing before the debate when it became clear that Biden was no longer up for the job. With Harris, the bottom might not fall out, but she's still losing.

I think that, to be very honest with you, I do believe that we should have rightly believed, but we certainly believe that certain issues are just settled.

Vote for Trump.

Biden is irrelevant to my point though.

My point, throw a ball into the D side of Congress and whoever it hits, beats Trump.

I just wasn't thinking the ball would hit the VP who has no political resume, other than screwing up the border and she's not senile. Even then, I can see her giving Trump a race

Yep, and it's not at all wrong for Trump supporters to acknowledge your valid points. His personality and style has been great as a wrecking ball in DC and corporate media, so there is positive value in it. Also works well with other world leaders. But Trump only has one mode, he can't turn it off to court the on the fence vote during a campaign.

The GOP should know pallets of mail ballots are on deck with dem "election protection volunteers", to be cast in name of spammed up vote rolls. To beat that margin, there has to be a bit of a Trump transformation. He made a great move engaging the Libertarian convention, and in return they nominated a woke loser to steal votes from dems... but that may not be enough.
Casual Cynic
How long do you want to ignore this user?
Is it Biden or his policies? I think it's Biden's policies that are unpopular and not the man himself. The fact that he was clearly senile was just the icing on the cake.

For all those convinced Kamala is the nom, watch this twice. These guys are like street level lawyer prostitutes, spinning the narrative their bosses ("at the top") told them too. It's like their dem voters and media audience are 13 years old. They always over play their hand when they lie. Just like days ago with "Biden is our nominee, he is the best candidate to beat Trump."
