Just wanted to point that out. Obviously they had to move the body off the roof but it would seem most cell phone pic opps would have been on the roof and not later.

Or another way of describing. I think most cell phone pics would be from the location of the death. And in this case that would be a location with grass, not a roof.

duly noted re: the green reflection. One would also say he apparently sewed up (or healed) the gauge holes in his ears. Are you insinuating this is not the picture of the roof shooter? Or, this is the picture of the roof shooter, but possibly the body was by then moved to a different location? Regardless, it seems the resemblance to Yearick is still in play.

The picture you posted doesn't look like the accused shooter. So if that is in fact, a picture of a dead person from the rally, then we have a second shooter. Or only one shooter and the identity has been changed

The first time the shooter was IDed, it was reported by DNA. I said at the time that was awfully fast for someone who was not already in crim DNA databases. There was the possibility that the parents provided samples that day but still fast.

By comparison, go back to the Idaho student multiple murder case. They had BK's touch DNA on the sheath of the knife. FBI was on the case from the start but still took weeks and weeks and tapping multiple DNA databases for similarities finally tracking him down in PA and taking garbage from the house to get a positive ID for BK.

I mean, half the time (or, more) it's tough to get cell coverage at Kyle field during a game. I am not real surprised cell coverage was spotty. The issue is in my mind the communications plan for security, which should not have relied on cops on traffic duty checking that roof or then using cell service etc. to radio to the stage team.

Communications plans between USSS and supporting folks shouldn't have been left to depend on folks like Verizon/AT&T in any normal operation. But, the USSS also skipped the 9:30 am coordination meeting that day so I guess maybe this was…part of someone's plan.

Let's not forget that tha Unabomber Ted Kazinski famously participated in 200 hours of MK Ultra experiments conducted at Harvard U before famously going off the rails.

So you got to acknowledge that to some extent there is some way to manipulate an individual into doing stuff like this, so the question is what improvements have been made since the program halted in 1973.

There are many reasons why that happened.

Genuine question; what is the theory of coordination between Crooks and Yearick? I just don't have one. IF it was Yearick on the roof who was killed, what happened to Crooks, and what was he doing when the former was taken out?

If this was in fact coordinated as a hit, as is the theory, why were both Crooks and Yearick involved, and why did both disappear afterward (obviously one is dead)? As simple as misdirection, as with the 'man on the water tower' or heavily photographed primary/near counter-sniper team that didn't take the shot? Useful distraction as with Cheatle's DEI idiocy on parade?

Possibly to act as a distraction to pull resources and eyes away from the other man. Even if man #2 is just another set of eyes to better time the retrieval of the rifle, or getting in a position would be a lot of help.

Maybe the range finder was a prop of sorts to aid in the act?
