Yep. Neither Keith or any of the others have pointed out where it was a wrong decision. They just know it is because of "feels".

If he's not properly appointed it stands to reason he doesn't have the authority to challenge the ruling. Seems like only someone properly appointed to represent the government would have the legal standing to even file an appeal.

He can appeal despite Cannon's decision. He is the party's representative still. Where the money comesfrom to do so is another matter however.

Low probability they do that though, other than for show. The goal of the charges was to get a summer trial/conviction during peak campaign season, which won't happen now, regardless. It's wound up ginning up more support/empathy for Trump so I would expect they just give up on the effort at this point.

The lawfare worked out so badly for them that they tried to JFK Trump before the convention, LOL.
