It remains unclear where on the roof the shooter was firing from.
Initial understanding was that the guy was set up prone and firing over the peak of the roof. The idea being he was concealed by the back side of the roof, and allegedly in the shadow of a large tree which was alleged to have obstructed the sniper team's view.
His final resting place looks like the very edge of the roof and some distance from the peak of the roof. You can see the guy's shoe halfway sticking over the ledge of the roof.
Did the guy get up and run or bear-crawl to this position and then was shot through the orbital or is this the location where he was alleged to have fired from?
Would this be an explanation for why at least one of the shots fired by the snipers missed? He running around and not sitting still in prone?
People on the ground 50 feet away were watching the guy from ground level and recording video of him on the roof. If he would have been on the interior iof the roof he'd be difficult to see from ground level. The cops had to get a boost to see the guy but could have seen him from ground level.
