In his defense this was very early and most of us speculated that it was something inside the rally and not a long rifle from over 400 ft out. I too thought it sounded like a .22 when I thought it was close range initially. How about not fight either way though?

I'm speaking to the moments BEFORE the shot was fired. Several people watched the shooter climb up onto the roof and notified police minutes before shots were fired. That's the failure to which I am speaking.

Shooter most likely used a suppressed rifle and the sound you were hearing was the supersonic bullet breaking the sound barrier. That is what the crack sound that was heard. Anyone that has been in a firefight knows what I mean

Have to wait to know exactly all the mess ups here but for a former president and Nominee for President to be within an inch of his brain being splattered on stage is a Secret Service Failure and if his campaign had asked for more protection and was denied everybody in that decision making line needs to be fired.

Honestly my first thought was it looks like a demolition ranch "Demolitia" Tshirt. Looks like the "EM" on the front of his shirt.
