You know, Teddy Roosevelt was shot giving a speech once and I think it went into his notes or something in his pocket and he continued the speech.
It sounded to me like only three shots were at Trump small caliber and then a volley of shots from USS at the shooter and someone said shooter down before they let Trump stand

It doesn't matter if if you're talking about pro audio equipment, or consumer grade it never sounds like you think it should when you're watching the playback. I say this is someone who has videotaped myself and others shooting in competitive shooting events many times. Most modern video equipment has a compressor function that will cut high decibel sounds. And really cheap microphones just can't handle major swings in decibels or high volume.
