You just described every Jason Statham movie. I like Statham. The movie was just okay.

Jason Statham movie.

Not a good movie, first of all. The "bee" puns were just, yuck.

But, it also did a lot to glorify vigilante violence against the family of the president "for the good of the hive" (Yuk).

It's thinly veiled propaganda glorifying assassination.

Not a fan. Super ugly that this movie gets made in this environment.

Every Jason Statham action movie is different. Every Jason Statham action movie is the same.

Also, OP taking a mid-budget action film waaaay too seriously. If you're inclined to mine Statham's films for politics, which is silly in the first place, I'd recommend Homefront, which hits all the right wing talking points of (1) American flag (2) middle America (3) veterans (4) fighting a drug ring that's affecting the American way of life (5) pro-family values.

Some y'all are clearly hella fun.

Have y'all never seen a Jason Statham movie before? Transporter? Handsome Rob?

Know what gets "the rib" going? Anything with Jason Statham or Vin Diesel.

Know what movies I make it a point to watch with my wife? Exactly.

Six degrees of separation, the night Vin Diesel came to my daughter's softball game, he was the coolest Cabron ever. My wife and all the other softball moms let him go without kidnapping him.

So another dude gets your wife going? Seems sad.

Safe to assume somebody like Sydney Sweeney doesn't do anything for you?

I was enjoying Anna Kendrick until I found out she's a midget.

Guess I'll have to fall back to Sofia Vergara.

No, it's not. We have some dramatic people in here.
Not dramatic, it was just dumb, with horrible writing and the action below average.

You forgot, this is Texags (and even moreso the politics board), where every male poster is an Adonis who is so manly his wife doesn't even realize there are other men on the planet. Those wives BTW are more beautiful than Sydney Sweeney, Sofia Vergera, and Scarlett Johansson combined.

This is not good news for me..... I just watched Jodie Comer crush it in Killing Eve. Her character was fun and I was looking forward to Bikeriders.

As for Beekeeper, I watched it yesterday. OK, we are supposed to use our imagination, but that is horrible shooting by our govt. They must have all been DEI recruits. No man in his 50's is going to be able to purposely defend himself while advancing to his goal without using more guns. The idea that he could just kick all that arse without killing people is tough to imagine. I did like the role the Hunger Games actor and his understudies played. That was spot on.

This is always a fascinating topic on the internet to me. I think it's so accepted to consume images of strangers to get aroused that some people don't realize that not everyone is doing that. They really aren't.

(Other than Mrs. Huxtable dying in the first 10 minutes)
Well I knew that was what drove his revenge. You could kind of tell that from the preview.

Revenge movies are always good. Man on fire is still one of the best I've ever seen. And it's based on a true story. I always love bad guys getting theirs. I wish we could do more of it in real life without consequences.
Man on Fire is not based on a true story, unless you consider the author melding together a kidnapping in Singapore and John Paul Getty III''s kidnapping in Italy to be one story. The Denzel Washington remake is awesome ("I wish...you had...more time.") , but neither it nor the original are based on a true story.

Entertaining. Sandra Oh is not attractive and they portray her as some sexual magnet. It is Jodie Comer's breakout for sure. They highlight her outfits. The various settings are fun to follow. What I am typing is GAH and I am slightly embarrassed to post this.

You should watch Thelma. I saw the theater last weekend and it's on the same line. It has everything, humor, a little bit of sadness, sweetness, and other stuff. But that's the main topic is this 93-year old woman that got ripped off and her revenge.

Start with "Born Losers" and then "Billy Jack". I never knew Billy Jack was actually based on a real life Native American.
