Yep, social media and instant info has made the fake news issue be multiplied by 100. The first news out gets the story and attention. We see it over and over again. Reporter tweets something untrue or half true, gets a million retweets or whatever. They tweet correction and only a few 1000 see it while the world goes on believing the original tweet.
