Bawhahahaha

Imagine being a fan of a guy that has no idea whats going or how an eclipse actually works. His handlers needed a photo op. I'm surprise he made it onto the balcony.

Add it to the list......

I've seen things you people wouldn't believe... Totality over asphalt in North Texas.....Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion... I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhuser Gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain...

What time will Ted Cruz be arriving from Cancun? Is there a welcoming party? Doesn't he usually skip towns during disaster declarations? At least that is the way that the libs portray it.

No, I don't give a damn how much money you make. If your last shirt has pockets, take all you can take. I'm goin' out with nothin' like I came in

Astronomers have known there's going to be a total eclipse in 2024 (as well as many others) for hundreds of years. This isn't some random action from god because of what's happened over the last few years.
Hard to imagine I am actually going to defend MTG but if you believe as she does
yes the date time and location of this eclipse has been known for hundreds of years
But God also knew the wicked ways we people would have been guilty of so his warning was scheduled because he knew we would be wicked
Maybe, maybe not. But personally I ascribe to the belief that to believe one truly knows and understands the will of God is a form of heresy.

If you're saying God knows about the wicked ways of people hundreds of years ahead of time, it doesn't sound like you believe God has given us free will.

Or are you saying that there's just a general wickedness that people are born with because of how they were designed and that therefore God places a moon in such an orbit that we'll get some randomly dispersed total eclipses around the world to make the especially religious part of the population (i.e. those who tend to think of eclipses as warnings) think twice?
No, I don't care what CNN or MSNBC said this time

Original Sin.

Never forget that you sinned when your desire to be made your parents mash their opposite bits together.

We are all sinners. The path of totality missed California but went right through Texas. Why God not warn California?

One could as easily conclude the eclipse is a sign of God showing who he is smiling upon. Those in his favor get to see a wondrous sight. The wicked miss out

California, New Jersey, and Oregon all had some quakes lately to remind them to fix their behavior. Maybe a meteor strike is needed?

The fact that the eclipse caused local drops in temperatures greater than 5 degrees means that the sun has more power over the climate than anything we do here on earth.

Fake. The sun would not be that big compared to everything else in the shot.

First pic is a composite. No doubt (at least to me) the donor pics were taken during the totality but they are put together in a photo editor. The Waffle House one is pretty cool.

But getting a picture of an eclipse is a once or twice in a lifetime sort of thing for most people. And someone wasted that opportunity on a Waffle House.
