It seems Biden has been taking them off since 2022 to escort illegals to processing facilities so they can be released into the country.

Part of the deterrent is the bad guys thinking there are air marshalls on airplanes now the public and the bad guys know they are no longer likely to be there.

Because I know that most flights don't have air marshals on them.

I think DCA is the only one that has them on every flight.

I honestly don't know the stats... But there are simply too many daily flights for us to have air marshals on. Go camp out in at DFW and IAH.... It's non stop... 24x7x365

Per Wiki.... There are 3,000 air marshals. Who knows if that includes the bureaucratic overhead found in all government agencies because you have to have the supervisors and the professional skype video conference marshals to effectively run government.

They were hired as air marshals. If we don't need them as air marshals, the government positions need to be eliminated.

Oh, and enforce the border and our laws that govern immigration.

There doesn't need to be "a whole lot more" just don't limit an already limited resource, especially to help mitigate situations created by not enforcing other laws. This isn't rocket surgery.

Many pilots are armed. That alone should be enough of a deterrent. And the cockpit doors aren't really able to be breached these days...

Which might be OK if what they were doing with illegal aliens was meant to reduce their flow into the country. Instead, they are facilitating the invasion.

There are lots of viral videos of Karen's making asses of themselves on planes getting hauled out of the plane by airport cops though and J have never seen one where an Air Marshall steps in to do something. I assume AMs are only on a select few flights that historically have people that need to be watched on them.

Since "Lets Roll" and have occurred thousands of times since, regular passengers have secured peace and will continue to do so in the face of a gun or bomb. There is no real need for air marshals anymore, especially since pilots are now also armed.

Air Marshalls aren't there to control the Karens. That is the responsibility of the crew. Karens can used as a diversion in order to accomplish things more sinister.

This isn't optimal but it is like 1000th issue on the list of issues we have. 30T+ in debt, inflation, a SCOTUS judge thinks the government has 1st amendment rights, and another can't tell the difference between a man and a woman. All the while republicans are boasting of introducing a bill that accomplishes nothing.
