I read the opinion word for word...

It holds that each state can't just decide who they qualify or disqualify for the office of the presidency...

It makes ZERO distinction on whether or not each state can decide who is eligible to represent their own, respective state...

The majority opinion points out that all of the states vote for the same candidates for the presidency, so if one state disqaulifies that person, and another does not, and each state usue their own criteria to make thos determinations, then chaos ensues and a handful of states could decide the presidency because of who they decided on their own was eligible and ineligible...

However, all states DO NOT vote for all Senators and Representatives...each state decides who their respective members of Congress will be, and no other state has any say in that matter...

Therefore, there is nothing preventing a Colorado judge from declaring Representative X in Distrct Y is "ineligible" to be on the ballot because this particular judge has deemed them to be an "insurrectionist"...and if the Colorado SC agrees with that, I see nothing in this ruling that would prevent exactly that from happening...

States can't decide on their own whether or not a national canidadate is elgible for office, but nothing prevents them from deciding whether or not individuals from their own state are eligible to represent the constituents of that state...

I listened to oral arguments. It was painfully obvious the Court wasn't buying it. zero percent chance they were going to drop a bombshell opinion siding with CO.
