While I like DeSantis and what he's doing in Florida, you're delusional if you think he could have done something like this at a Federal and got treated any differently than Trump did. It just blows my mind that people on here don't understand this. Trump's not perfect; no one said he is. But how exactly are you going to spend 4-7 years defending yourself against all the crap he's had to put up with -- and then be judged against everything you've said and done in that time (not to mention the lies you had to defend against in the first place)?
Answer that question, assure us (with evidence) that DeSantis will come through clean on that, and maybe I'll consider your comment here as something of value. Otherwise, it is totally absurd.
Difference is that Trump trips over his own dick at every turn and invites the attacks.
Virtually everything he's attacked for is because of some unforced error on his part.
