This is the fundamental issue with a drug like ozempic, people aren't making the foundational changes needed for a healthy lifestyle, they're relying on a drug to do the work and if they ever have to go off, they immediately slip right back into being fat.

Do the fats just stay on Ozempic the rest of their lives?

Too soon to know but the answer is most likely yes, if not your digestive system returns to normal and not be paralyzed. Unless there are major dietary changes, I'm sure even the crappy foods will get to you, no matter how small the portions. People with lap bands and gastric bypass have put the bad weight back on and had medical complications, you can't win unless you change your lifestyle.

That is what I have heard.
The fatter, the sooner, the better for big pharma.
As a nation we are committing self harm first 2019-2022 and now this.

I don't understand people who would rather take drugs than care for their body.

FIFY.

Americans are hooked on sugar and grains.
Americans are unfortunately hooked on American grains. The grains in Europe won't make you nearly as fat as the hard red winter wheat that has become the staple of American junk food. Make no doubt about it, when you go to Europe, you can eat and eat and eat and you will manage to drop a few pounds and it's not just because you're walking more than usual. Our government pushes ingredients that make us fatter and fatter and then pushes drugs that promise to fix it. Rinse and repeat.
