Kennedy might be, or might have been, a candidate. I guess he paid a filing fee to run, submitted the paperwork, etc., but he is not a legitimate candidate. He, nor Hurd, nor DeSantis, nor Pence, nor Elder were they to stay in the race as a Federalist or a Whig or a whatever, would get a single electoral vote. There was a research group that actually studied Reagan and Trump and concluded Trump's actual policies were more conservative than Reagan's.
My favorite was these guys hammering Trump for saying Florida's abortion law was too strict. Saw post after post on how Trump was attacking from the left. TRUMP IS A LUB.
