Dozens of US government workers will stage a one-day hunger strike to protest the Biden's administration support for Israel amid the war with Hamas.


Members of Feds United for Peace told The Guardian that employees from over two dozen government agencies - including the Departments of Defense and State - plan on a day of fasting on Thursday.

The officials participating will show up at work either dressed in black or wearing 'keffiyeh scarves or other symbols of Palestinian solidarity.'

They said they are protesting 'starvation as a weapon of war by intentionally withholding food from entering Gaza,' where more than 26,000 people, mostly civilians, have been killed since the war began, according to the Health Ministry in the Hamas-ruled territory.




1. Way to go out on a limb there. Fasting for 1 day will REALLY make an impact. At least go for 3 days to show that you are serious.

2. This is causing a disruption in the workplace. If a serious world, they should be punished or sent home for causing a disruption.

3. This is the same group that tried to organize a walkout earlier this month, that spectacularly failed. Then they tried to retroactively explain it was never meant to be a walkout.

Folks in Gaza were doing okay, pictures looked like nice place. Hamas, whom they elected decided to invade Israel.
Just like what happens to us is the fault of people who voted for Biden.

They should try stomping their feet, flopping on the floor and flailing about. It more visually impactful than not eating anything one day, even a three-year old knows this.

I prefer they fast for 18 months straight.

I'd rather they hold their breath for 1 day...

Didn't protest the raping of women while their children were roasting in an oven.

Didn't protest the bullets to the head given to toddlers in their car seats.

Didn't protest the murders of those who only crime was apparently being Jewish in the wrong place at the wrong time.

But protest now, much like the Biden Administration, when Israel decides to hold the Palestinian swine accountable for their actions.

i am 100% not a single one of them are fasting for even the whole day. they will just skip lunch while at work to score their sympathy cred

They should self immolate if they want to prove they are serious.

Time to bring in microwave popcorn and order in bbq for lunch.
