That's really an issue because there are real issues that being on the side of truth matters but since his credibility was already shot because he lied openly about other things people who already don't like him are going to assume he is still lying. His supporters simply ignore that or don't understand it.

I'll vote for Trump but I'm done with pretending he is something he isn't. He has my vote simply because he is better than the alternative, that's it. The fact he is actively trying to tell people now who already don't like him and are only voting for him because they hate Democrats more that he doesn't want them is just the latest stupidity. A lot of you really wanted this though so I guess we get to FAFO. If he wins, great. Not much will get done but at least we won't go full Socialist. If he loses we are all completely screwed. This is what a lot of you guys wanted so just own it. I will say that continuing to insult conservatives and other Republicans that are on the fence of voting for Trump probably isn't the best strategy though.

He didn't...have a lot of respect for a man who endured what he endured from the establishment trying to blow up his presidency at every turn...literally tried to impeach him for a phone call, and then Biden when and gave Ukraine a bunch of freebies anyway...

Tried to short circuit his candidacy with a fake dossier that was championed by our own intel folks...

The fact he was able to accomplish what he did in spite of literally the entire DC complex setting landmines at every turn is quite astonishing... And then continuing to weaponize the Justice Dept against him after leaving office...just absolutely unprecedented...I'd be pissed too...

Ultimately, DeSantis was the better conservative contender, and he was defintely more polished and acted more "presidential"...side with him on issues more than anyone...

But at the end of the day, I'll take Trump over literally anything the Left/Marxists/Progressives want to try to put in office...

He definitely lost me in 2020, but he started losing my vote then, too. I genuinely don't think we will be in a better place in 20 years if he gets in office. Yes, he is theoretically better than Biden on policy positions, but he also is like the kid who is going to score goals in his own team because he gets turned around. His weaknesses are such that we are probably better on defense than on offense when he has the ball.

Never voting for a Democrat, but also not going to vote for Trump.

This is a great example of what happens to you eventually if you support Trump. This guy was a hardcore Trump supporter who was at the NH Victory Party after knocking 12,000 Doors for Trump. He was at Jan 6. Unfortunately he took a picture with Trump's lawyer and posted it. He didn't realize that she had lied to the Judge in Trump's Court Case that she had a Fever and Covid and thus needed a delay in the trial when the real reason was she wanted to go to the NH Victory Party. Kid was just excited to see Trump's lawyer and take a picture. Now he is excommunicated.

I thought his candidacy was actual fraud/joke in 2015/2016. I think he thought it was a joke and was just trying to pump up his brand but then morons actually started to consider his schtick to be real. Trump didn't lose me. I couldn't vote for the scumbag the first time around even against the witch Hillary. I just refused to vote. I have never liked him and like him less now than ever. He is a despicable human and a worldwide embarrassment to this country. He's not very smart and is clearly slipping a little with advancing age. However, I appreciated most of his policies during his presidential term and held my nose and voted for him the second time around because Biden is worse in every way. I despise Trump but would likely vote for him again especially if the only other real option is Biden or Harris.

Remember when he organized a rally in Washington DC for the day of the certification of the vote for an election he lost and was urging his VP to defy the Constitution and refuse - then he sent his mob of miscreants to the Capitol to exert pressure to defy the constitution? Yes, he's less terrible than Biden. No, I won't vote for him in the general election. I live in Texas, and Trump (or whoever the R candidate is if by some miracle he doesn't get the nomination) will win Texas. So I will vote for whoever I think the best candidate is. I don't have to pick between the 2 major party candidates. And maybe a significantly low showing for Trump in Texas would at least help signal my dissatisfaction. If I lived in a swing state that would probably change my thinking.

Yes, he's less terrible than Biden. No, I won't vote for him in the general election. I live in Texas, and Trump (or whoever the R candidate is if by some miracle he doesn't get the nomination) will win Texas. So I will vote for whoever I think the best candidate is. I don't have to pick between the 2 major party candidates. And maybe a significantly low showing for Trump in Texas would at least help signal my dissatisfaction. If I lived in a swing state that would probably change my thinking.

This right here. The whole COVID thing was a disaster we will never recover from. We could've used some real leadership and he was in charge. Instead we got Fauci and the vax forced on us. And the time for him to "stop the steal" was COVID. It was used by the democrats to beat him. But, alas, the 3D chess master just played right into their hands.
