This is true. Especially now with social media. I thought we had the upper hand but man their are some dumb people in this country.

Sure there are some fringe idiots with extreme beliefs, but that's true on the left and among certain ethnic groups...and there all such a tiny tiny minority. There's hasn't been a majority belief in the supremacy of whites in 300 years and even then it was nuanced in various countries.

Some things about his past cast doubts on how genuine his conservative beliefs are.

It seems he was apathetic towards politics when pursuing his business career.

He seemed to at one point in the past have embraced vaccine mandates.

He's a great speaker and salesperson obviously, but I'm not sure how he would govern and I'm not confident his positions and decisions when in office will reflect his campaign positions.

Ron DeSantis despite whipping Newsom in that debate comes across as fake. He seems to have put on a persona that a bunch of consultants have told him to, and it has fallen flat with many republican voters.

Warming up to Haley as a VP if that what it takes to beat Biden.

If DeSantis had traction, I would warm up to him as well but unfortunately for his followers/backers, he didn't catch on. He is polished and says all the right things but the majority of voters in the Republican Party are not supporting him. Most feel he should have waited until 2028, he obviously didn't read it that way and it will be fatal for his career IMO.

I misspelled Ramaswamy name, I consider his message in line with mine and would definitely vote for him over all others but Trump. If Trump gets knocked out, he is the guy.

That is not trolling, to the person that claims I was, your sense of awareness is as great as your candidates', none existent.

Lol, the P is nowhere near the M or Y on your keyboard, but nice try I suppose.

He'd have a better shot if Trump want running, mostly because he seems to attract Trump's type of voters. Unfortunately he doesn't even have a track record of successfully enacting conservative policies into place as a politician, which is why he's doing worse than DeSantis.

He's nailing all the things many Conservatives want to hear, but that just makes him a wealthy guy with opinions until he's actually become a successful politician.

Vivek is pragmatic, like most CEO's. It's a trait, quality, or God-given talent that many leadership-types possess. They still make mistakes because they are human, but they generally don't waste a lot of time making decisions on important matters, where others get buried in looking at all the angles it could bite them; better known as "paralysis of analysis".

Bit of good and bad.

I like him though. He's fairly eloquent in rhetoric and clear-minded.

Way beneath his skillset and intellect. That position was well below Kayleigh and Sarah's skillset as well. Compared to what we have in there now...holy crow...would be a huge upgrade.

"White supremacists" used to mean the people who went to Klan rallies and lynchings. Then it was the segregationists. Then it was people who used the N word. But now it just means Republican voters.

I agree about hoping he sticks around and is relevant. I think he is extremely smart. And very quick!!!

But, make no mistake, he is not conservative. Maybe next to Gavin Newsom or Bernie Sanders…. But he is not a Conservative by any means.

The interesting point to watch is what Vivek does after he is not the primary candidate and not selected as VP. Will this man stay in politics? My suggestion is to go run as a Governor of his state.

I would put him easily in the top 3, personally, and really anywhere in there, on any given issue, and have no problem voting for him if he somehow wins the primary. Frankly, he might be my second choice behind RDS.

I really dig Vivek. I don't know what certain people have against him, but he's been consistent. He even admitted he didn't pay much attention to politics in the past but he's been shocked from apathy and wants to do something. I take that as a good sign, not bad.
I'd almost rather have Vivek as president over Trump.

Yep, go replace the current "Rep" governor who thinks males should compete in female sporting events. Show me that you'll actually implememt all of the promises you're currently making. Then jump back onto the National stage and you have my vote.

Yep, sure did once my choices were narrowed to Trump or ****ing Hillary Clinton. FFS, that was no choice at all.

But we're in the 2024 Primaries right now and Vivek is nowhere near the most experienced nor accomplished conservative candidate. Different situation than the comparison you're trying to make. But if Vivek somehow miraculously wins the R nomination this year he'll have my vote in the General. That's how that works.

That's pretty naive though. I don't believe the president has the legal authority to fire 75% of the federal government. I don't really mind the bravado but I don't also think bragging about going full GCF on the White House travel office really is a great idea on day zero.

I get what you're saying but seems a bit off.
I'd rather have someone in with little to no experience that hasn't been corrupted by Washington or politics in general. It's why I liked Trump, I still like him but personally think Vivek is a stronger candidate.

Why wouldn't he? I think he absolutely has a say, but will probably have to get it passed by congress, unless it can be done by executive order.
