I understand Trump lemmings are unfamiliar with winning elections because their hero has led the Republican Party to lose constantly over the last 6 years, but when Reynolds can turn a 50/47 win in 2018 to a 58/40 win in 2022 (including flipping 7 counties that were blue in 2018) that means she's pretty popular.

Kim Reynold is +65 among Republicans and -37 among Democrats!

Reynolds won by 19% in 2022. Trump won Iowa by 8% in 2020.

That says a lot more about Morning Consult than Reynolds. She just won re-election by 18 and is treated like a Rock Star in Iowa. My guess is they oversampled Dems. So far MC has been very timely with polls that help Trump all cycle.

Trump has burned the bridges in GA and FL and pissed on them afterward. He can't win without both of those states but even now he goes after Kemp and the memory of John McCain. You don't have to be nice to those voters but Trump has gone out of his way to alienate them permanently, that's 10% of the vote in those states he can't afford to lose. That's the ballgame.

Maybe it wasn't such a good idea for Trump to attack her simply because she wouldn't endorse HIM when he demanded her to do so.

At some point you stand up to the bully and stop fearing him. He is getting a lot of his "endorsements" through threats. Either endorse him or he will go after you. If you don't give him positive coverage as an influencer or journo he will cut you off. That's his choice but it's a huge turnoff to many of us. I want to vote for someone because of what they stand for not because they are threatening retribution if you don't.
