Yes the IDF and Shin Bet (Interior Security Service) has very good ability to use Artificial intelligence assets to recognize the terrorists who entered into Israel on 7 October.

they will get them all.

it's just a question of time.

Look up operations Bayonet / rath of god. It may take 30 years like those did but Israel will get everyone involved. They don't mess around

"Temporarily" relocating Gaza residents to Indonesia may be on the table.

I know the dispute between Jewish and Palestinian people is ancient - I'm not necessarily looking to dive way back and say this group is totally in the right, this group is totally in the wrong.

I've intermittently paid attention to this thread for many months now, but am certainly not as knowledgeable as I'm sure many of you are.

My question, if even possible in a relatively short reply, is what was the immediate impetus, the catalyst if you will, for the attacks on October 7th?

From a simply logical standpoint, the parties involved with the attacks (Hamas, Hezbollah, Iran, whoever else has a vested interest) had to be fully aware that while devastating of course, the attacks that took place on that day would be answered with far superior fire power and resources. What did those groups possibly believe there was to gain by carrying out the plans they did? Was it simply from their perspective, however right or wrong you may find them, opportunistic retaliation for perceived wrongs of the past, perhaps territorial gains, ?

I'm just trying to wrap my head around that specific moment in history and understand, if there are any, what specific things led to a decision that ultimately resulted in a lot of destruction, death, and so forth in your territory/for the people that generally believe Israel to be 'the bad guy'

It's not accent though. Really started in 1968.

literally a horrendous answer and undefendable in any academic analysis.

the FIRST JEWISH STATE was in the land of Israel in 2600 BCE

the SECOND Jewish State was in the land of Israel from approximately 300 BCE to 76 CE

there have been Jews in the land of Israel since the time of Abraham.

the first Zionist Congress in Basel was in 1897, but there were already 40,000 Jews living in the land of Israel

the Balfour Declaration was in 1917

the San Remo conference assigning a Jewish state under British Mandatory governance was in 1921

the Arab Riots of 1926-29 were put down by the British

the Arab Riots of 1936 were put down by the British

the Israel war of Independence began in 1947 when Arabs began attacking Jews throughout the country

5 Arab armies invaded Israel on 15 May 1948

Emptying out Gaza would be best for any actual residents who are not simply Hamas enthusiasts.

I'm not sure how Trump could convince folks in Egypt/Jordan/Indonesia or anywhere else to take them though. It's a 'challenging' group of people to put up with who have been inculcated to think they are aggrieved as an ethos.

Adjacent countries have shown little interest in accepting the Palestinians. I don't blame them.

Maybe The Kingdom can make it financially worth it for someone to take them.

It's purely transactional. Egypt gets a lot of USAID funding. It would be a shame if that got cut or delayed while we are figuring out a solution to resetting Palestinian refugees. There's a little leverage to be used there.

Jordan already had a civil war in 68 (Black September) against PLO in Jordan. There are 2-3 million Palestinians in Jordan now, adding more would potentially tip Jordan becoming to having hezbollah/plo/hamas run unfettered. There is a reason Egypt and Jordan said last year they will take 0 refugees from Gaza.

Honest question sir,

I hope that Mossad is able to identify who held these hostages for all this time for future reference. Do you think that is a possibility or just wishful thinking? I hope that they can be and then eliminated with extreme prejudice WHEN Hamas breaks the terms of the ceasefire.

Eliminate anyone that was a part of this travesty against Israeli citizens!

Why take a chance on missing one, just eliminate them all.
This is the correct answer. If you kill them all, you know you got the ones you sought most to get.

Or send them to Syria. I think they're still busy fighting their own civil war and wouldn't notice a few extra refugees.

Israel's Prime Minister says Trump has invited him to the White House

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says President Donald Trump has invited him to visit the White House on Feb. 4, which would make him the first foreign leader to visit Washington in Trump's second term.

The visit comes as the United States is pressuring Israel and Hamas to continue a ceasefire that has paused a devastating 15-month war in Gaza.

Under the ceasefire, more than 375,000 Palestinians have crossed into northern Gaza since Israel allowed their return on Monday morning, the United Nations said Tuesday. That represents over a third of the million people who fled in the war's opening days.

Yes - according to the IDF they have eliminated all 5 of the savages who were on the pickup with Shani Louk

they also took out the black Hamas terrorist who was grabbing Naama Levy by the hair on the first day.

B''h Naama was liberated last saturday with 3 other female soldiers

More hostages released. Hamas looking like fools. They gave the hostages certificates of completing their time. Literally paraded them with a camera in front. Put them on a stage.

Now, there is chatter from hamas social media that Isreal has turned the busses of Palestinians that were due to be released around and headed back to the prison.

Bold move by hamas making a mockery out of their abductees.

This will only lose Hamas more support in the West even from leftist feminists

much less infuriating every Zionist around the world. Backfire of propaganda- then again Hamas are the worst savages on the planet.

I would not want to be the final released living hostage. A lot of risk in being that person as you're the final bargaining chip Hamas has to hold back Israel from coming in and finishing the job.

this is why Israel demanded the bodies of the murdered hostages be the last part of the "deal"

With Trump in office, it is MUCH harder for Hamas to renege and keep hostages.

they know there is a new sheriff in town who won't coddle their terrorism in the White House

imagining Kamala Harris being in charge of this- Hamas would NEVER give up the hostages!

dude actually looks more youthful today then before he was a hostage!

After they get all the hostages they should go back to war and finish this or it will never end.
