This sort of makes sense now with Iran threatening to retaliate. They had signaled before the attack that if it was measured and against military targets they would consider it the end of an exchange, but then afterwards despite Israel not attacking nuclear sites or oil infrastructure they freaked out. Iran didn't want to acknowledge what was struck.
That being said this could all be a bunch of info war crap that isn't true at all.

we have been seeing on these raids by IDF special forces to capture a target..
that sometimes it may be in fact they were an Israeli agent / asset and the IDF is going in to save them.
