I know there are some Captain Steve Audionix Live stream fans on here-

anyone else notice the cameras moved positions over the weekend? last week they were in downtown Gaza City and now they are outside in a more rural area.

I assume there could have been some building damage.

I find it miraculous that news outlets were reporting Gaza would run out of fuel in 48 hours over 2 weeks ago, no fuel trucks have been let in and yet they still have fuel.

I am sure Hamas has been stockpiling all the fuel and supplies they can steal from the UN and other aid agencies for months in preparation for this - the Gazan "civilians" are the ones who are screwed.

If Israel has to go get them and/or the hostages die, then Israel will give them the William Wallace treatment.

I think bringing back public executions would be a fantastic crime deterrent in general.
I did hear in the Israeli media they are considering a "war crimes tribunal" for the Hamas terrorists they have captured since the morning of 7 October.

If they were smart they would do it like the Nuremberg trials and accuse them all of conspiracy to commit terrorism.

It's against Israeli law now for capital punishment except for Adolf Eichman- so not sure they are going to change the law or not.

And in all seriousness, this is a good thread, though these guys sometimes get things very wrong;

good events tonight:

great links there

I would actually like to see more IDF battalions head SOUTH from their main line bisecting the Strip in two-

that way it gives more strategic depth and would make it impossible for the Hamas terrorists to use tunnels from Gaza City to evade the encirclement.

thinking is that the Hamas tunnels are most likely only a few miles long, so if you keep pressing IDF forces south of Gaza City even if Hamas tries to use the tunnels to escape, they will still pop up in Israeli controlled territory.

My assumption is that they know where tunnels are south of their position and have already discontinued the availability for use.

Some bullets on why this conflict, as it sits, is impossible to resolve:

  • Read about the formation of Al Qaeda and the historic of Islamic jihad. It almost always depends on a population of poor, uneducated people who are easily radicalized and are more than happy to become martyrs while those encouraging their martyrdom bask in relative safety elsewhere. Gazans are largely poor and uneducated, Hamas leadership views them as useful idiots more than as peers
  • Hamas is not stupid. They know that social media and the mainstream news media are their protection. They push propaganda that is lapped up by media desperate for the latest bleeding headline in an attempt to find a villain. The media do not care who the villain is as long as there is something fresh to write about. Want to know where the hostages are? Look in the tunnels and below hospitals and schools.
  • Hamas terrorists are indistinguishable from everyday Gazans when they choose to be, there are no uniforms in this conflict. It is impossible to "eradicate Hamas" at the soldier level, it is only possible at the leadership level
  • Palestine, as a concept, is more useful to the Middle East as a problem than as an actual state. Across the Middle East, Palestineans are used as a source of fundraising for jihadist organizations and as a rallying cry to foment hatred against Israel, Jews, and the USA. The average Palestinean is young, poor, uneducated, and likely radicalized from what schooling they do have. Why would anywhere else in the Middle East want to absorb that kind of person at scale?
  • What Palestine needs is industry and an economy. There have been prominent Israelis (both Jews and Arabs) who have set up offices in Gaza to provide good-paying jobs to Gazans in an effort to build an economic pathway to a better solution to all of this. One of those who had done this lost his daughter in the October 7 attacks
  • The worst thing for Hamas would be an educated, literate, and financially stable Gaza. Hamas has an existential incentive to prevent this from ever happening and they have proven talented at keeping their people poor, uneducated, and hopeless. Essentially, Hamas is running a martyr training camp with a population of 2 million people
  • The hardest part about this is the radical appetite for jihad (which, it needs to be said, is FAR different than the everyday practice of Islam, as most Muslims practice culturally more than religiously) and the duration they approach it with. They will wait for decades if they need to

The vision for Gaza and for the West Bank has to become more about opportunity and prosperity than anything else. If it is just about might and power, it will continue to be a protracted stress on the region and the world.
The Palestinian people will never have an industry and economy. They were given that when Israel LEFT the first time, it was all destroyed.

If only Bin Laden did not grow up a poor uneducated kid in the mountains of Afghanistan we never would have had 9/11.

if only we had ensured Germany was made much wealthier in 1936 we never would have had World War Two. If only we could have increased the GDP of the Soviet Union and Communist China there would have been world peace.

your analysis proclaiming that if we just make the Palestinians wealthier then there will be peace- was LITERALLY the strategy from 1968 - 2023

Israel this week used its Arrow missile-defence system to shoot down a ballistic missile outside of Earth's atmosphere, in what is believed to be the first combat ever to take place in space.

The ballistic missile was launched from Yemen by the Iran-backed Houthis, and flew almost 1,000 miles over the Arabian peninsula on the way to its target, the Israeli port city of Eilat.

While the Israel Defence Forces (IDF) has released few details about the interception, the Air Force is known to operate several batteries of the Arrow 2 system, which uses a hypersonic interceptor to take out incoming missiles in space.

The Israeli defence ministry released a video showing the moment of interception, with the faint cylindrical shape of the incoming ballistic missile barely visible in the false-colour image, before an explosion smears across the screen.
In a statement, the IDF said that air force systems tracked the missile's trajectory and intercepted it "at the most appropriate operational time and location".

Photographs from Eilat showed a trail of smoke from the Arrow interceptor, while residents reported hearing a large explosion from the ground.

Yemen's Houthis also released footage purporting to show the missile being launched as part of a barrage of drones and other long-ranged weapons aimed at Israeli towns and cities.

When this war is over will there be any army in the world that has more experience in combined arms operations in an urban environment?

Ukraine and Russia spent months fighting around Bakhmut, but a much smaller city than Gaza City. And there were not nearly the number of armored units moving through the streets.

IDF is looking pretty well kitted out here as well.

at the 19 second mark for a split moment

it looks like you can see the Mediterannean Sea to the right of the Israeli APV

which would mean they are along the Coast Road heading south into Gaza City.

Then it must be rebuilt. The West needs to paint a vision for Palestine of existence outside of Hamas's power/control instead of just talking about killing Hamas, because what fills the vacuum that strategy creates may be worse.

All of the people (and countries) currently talking about freeing Palestine should be the first to line up to purchase products made by Palestinean companies.
Bulli****. The West owes nothing to Palestine. The more unveiled their true wishes and intentions become, the more they appear to be parasites or worse. Nobody wants them. Let that sink in.

Israel needs to keep broadcasting this around the planet 24/7. Even though their enemies may ignore it and lie about it, the rest of the civilized world needs to be reminded daily what evil looks like.

Not sure if this has already been posted, but it probably has. Thread moves quick though and I'm not going to go back through dozens of pages to look.

Saw someone post this link on twitter. It is 100% NSFW. But videos/evidence of hundreds/thousands of civilians that were massacred that helps support everything that has been claimed by Israel.

Seeing military conflict is one thing. Seeing it done to defenseless civilians, and especially babies and children is different. That said, I'm not going to link to the website, but you can copy and paste it if you'd like.

Supposedly Gal Gadot is organizing a viewing from Hollywood of 150 participants to view the 42 minute collated video showed to the Knesset Parliament last week

(not sure if it is the exact same video as the ones posted earlier of the 7 October attacks)

most of the viewers couldn't make it to the end and several were breaking down in tears when they exited the room.

It's truly amazing that the Palestinians conduct the largest terrorist attack since 9/11/2001. in a way much more vicious and bloody with close face to face murders of women, children and the elderly.

and what's the world reaction? apathy and then literally siding with the same Palestinians who just murdered 1300 people.

I noticed that the videos I saw in the 24-48 hrs after Oct 7th on mainstream media (the girl in the truck, the one in the jeep, etc) were completely unsensored. Now, if they even show them at all, much of it is blotted out. Remember the girl being taken away on the motorcycle? If you've seen that video in the ensuing weeks, they blot out her terrified face completly.

Not sure what's going on, but videos of the atrocities aren't even close to going to air.

Queen of Jordan is calling for a ceasefire and saying another hamas will just fill it's place after the Israelis exterminate them. She says they should lay down their arms and try to pursue peace.

How does Israel pursue peace with a group that predicates it's entire existence on the genocide of Jews and the destruction of Israel? Arabs have barely budged from the position of the complete denial of a Jewish state and the expulsion of Jews from the Holy Land in 100 years. It's ludicrous that the rest of the world keeps putting the expectation of peace on Israel when they are the only ones willing to compromise.

If Jordan is so concerned with peace, why don't they have their own soldiers clear out hamas and hezbollah and the like? If they want peace so badly for the poor palestinians, then let them cut out the cancer and leave behind a population that won't continue to provoke Israel. Let the arabs be peacekeepers and police their own and put their money and blood where their mouths are.

gotta say, it's pretty heartbreaking to watch the world just fall for the palestinian/hamas victim card hook, line and sinker. not sure why any of us should be surprised given where we are politically around the globe though as morons all around us fall for idiocy everyday.

Pretty incredible given we're still less than 100 years removed from the holocaust and we have non-arabs essentially agreeing with jewish extinction all over again. sad world.
