The Queen of Jordan was from the Palestinian territory if memory serves. So it is possible some of her family is being killed by the IDF. But the point still stands, Israel didn't start it, they are just finishing it.

I agree with her to am extent. Half ass this job and leave a opening for Hamas to remain, then yes, it will remain and likely grow. That's what the west wants. That's what the EU wants.

If you wipe it off the earth, kill all its leaders, kills as many fighters as you can find, and scare the Palestinian people into never supporting it again, it will not be a problem. This has happened so many time in history.

This happened with the American Indians, the nazis, the Japanese, and countless others.

Peace cannot be had without the total decimation of those not wanting peace

Maybe I'm just bitter but the people of Gaza aren't innocent in this. They could easily destroy every Hamas member based on the numbers but instead support them and breed more of them.

They really aren't. There may be a checkpoint to ensure they are disarmed, but likely not. I posted a day or two ago the map showing the pre-war population density of Gaza, where the much denser parts/third are in the northern third, especially Gaza city.

They want that as depopulated as possible of 'civilians' as the utility shut off fully hits and the 'militants' (terrorists) start getting hungry etc. (And yes, I know they have stashes of food/water, but eventually that lack of toilets etc. takes a mental toll). The IDF has basically put a cordon around these highly dense population areas as they have bombarded them (from the sea, to that east west corridor, to the 'regular' borders with Israel proper). The bloody, 100K street fighting to follow will be easier without these people packed into it.

Get the cub scouts to vacate, is a good idea, basically:

ISRAEL has trained a unit of attack dogs to send into Hamas' vast tunnel network and take down terrorists.

Dramatic footage of a training exercise shows a hound running through a mock-up underground passage before mauling a fake fighter. The clip, shared by IDF spokesman Ofir Gendelman, shows the dog sink its teeth into a masked militant, who screamed loudly.

Footage is understood to be a part of Israel's drills and no dogs have so far been deployed in active combat.

Specially-trained military canines are part of the Oketz unit - able to sniff out explosives, find entrances and maul terrorists.

It is thought they could be sent into Hamas' mysterious 311-mile maze of tunnels.

Hidden up to 100ft below the surface, the entrances are enclosed under the floors of homes, mosques and schools - allowing fighters to move unseen between homes and alleyways within Gaza.

It is used by the warped group to transport people and goods as well as store rocks and ammunition.

The tunnels are understood to be connected to launch pits where rockets have been fired from towards Israeli areas.

Hamas' command and control centres are also housed in the intricate system away from Israel's watch.

every video we see of the damage in Gaza there are literally hundreds of military age males standing around and no women, no girls

Great find from the posts above.

what's fascinating here is this is Salah Al Din Street, the main north-south boulevard which runs the length of the Strip

and there is a Merkava tank sitting right there.

so maybe this is at the line where the IDF cut the Strip in two from east to west, or maybe it's another place where the IDF was able to penetrate halfway into the Strip

also interesting to see the civilians using white flags which is a very good sign. and being willing to walk past an Israeli tank (clearly committing genocide against them! sarcasm tag)

keep in mind that the IDF Merkava and the Namer AFV and other vehicles utilize the TROPHY ADS which shoots at the incoming rockets before impact

Thus, we have seen many "explosions" are the warhead blowing up before it penetrates the vehicles. which is why Hamas doesn't show the after effects as the IDF tanks keep moving forward.

this woman who has no reason to defend the Israelis is stating that the IDF was firing, but not at the civilians

the ultimate irony is that Israel opens humanitarian corridors to save Palestinian civilian lives, and Hamas is either attacking the civilians or attacking the IDF troops near the corridor.

The primary weapon of a tank in combined arms battle is actually the coax. It is far more useful against infantry and is used to suppress enemy infantry and allow friendly infantry to manuver on them. The main gun is really only if enemy armor shows up or for bunkers or hard targets. People often forget that because the coax machine gun is so unobtrusive.

absolutely that Al Azhar University was a training ground for Hamas

and also munitions storage which makes sense that they are able to build missiles and energetics in their labs.

or at least they WERE able to build it in the past.
