all the efforts to make voting "more convenient" were really just to transform voting so they don't have to convince the impoverished free handout government dependent socialist voter base to make an effort and go vote anymore. Don't need inspiring candidates. Don't need motivating "get out the vote" concerts. Don't need to campaign. Can sit in a basement with a lid on from the media and just wait until enough mass-mailed ballots can get counted until the predetermined outcome is achieved. Registering is done for millions. Filling out ballots is done for millions. Dropping off ballots is done for millions. Making things complicated is how you create opportunity for extracting value for yourself (or party).
