Uh, it depends on if you are vaccinated, dummy.
Carry on.
I don't think you know me.

Because you are attempting to assert that ICE vehicles have more fires (per unit) than EVs.
It was pointed out that the ICE numbers (per 100K) aren't limited to single vehicle, garaged fires, which invalidates your implied contention.
And what data set has your side presented?
You're just not gonna answer any anything, are you?
Do you believe an ICE vehicle is more likely to catch fire sitting by itself in a garage than an EV?
Yes, I do and I've yet to see any data to indicate otherwise. Have you?

Is this going to be an issue were insurance companies are going to make it almost impossible to park and electric vehicle inside your home?
No, insurance companies generally rely on actuaries and data analysis rather than random articles of one off fires.
Yes, from the American Academy of Actuaries:Quote:
As prices top $4 a gallon, should you consider an electric vehicle? One consideration: They're more expensive to insure and repair.

According to new research from comparethemarket.com, drivers choosing to 'go green' by opting for an electric car are having to pay 45% more to insure their vehicle than the average motorist.

Yep. More reason we should ban ICE vehicles. That man would still be alive it were an EV.

Am I missing something? Is that not an electric car that exploded? I'm not much of a car guy, but the video says it's an electric car.
And are we sure that guy died? I know he was hurt badly at least, but I hope he survived.
What is that red thing that hit him? Again, I'm not a car guy, or a mechanical guy... obviously.

The car in the video wasn't an EV. It's old and was an LPG (ICE) vehicle that exploded in Uzbekistan and the man died. The red thing was what remained of the hydrocarbon tank that powered the ICE.

Everything under the hood of an ice bomb is on the table. Another point for EV's is the lack of extra parts and points of failure, as we routinely see in these catastrophic ice vehicle fires.

Dude are you a bot? You defend EVs so hard. You do realize you're not saving the planet, right? The electricity you use comes from burning oil, coal and LNG.
If the answer is "I like my EV" then great. Enough said. But it's not the salvation of mankind.

Why do you come on every thread critical of EV's? Are you paid to do this?
It's a political message board. The point is back and forth and debate. If you don't want that just say so.
These threads are never stated by EV drivers. Are they paid by the oil companies?
Are you being paid by someone to post on here yes or no?
A dormant ICE is less likely to catch fire in a garage than a charging EV, that is just a physical fact.cecil77 said:Teslag said:cecil77 said:

If EVs were not being mandated, these threads would never be started.
You may laugh, but its absolutely true. No one gives two ****s about EVs being a novelty for some folks. Its the mandates that gets folks riled up.Teslag said:Logos Stick said:Teslag said:one safe place said:
