Not disagreeing with most of your points, but Trump didn't have elective office experience either.
Right, but he was in his 60's and had massive real world experience and had been in and around politics for decades. He almost ran in 2000. He had massive international experience and knew a lot of international leaders personally.

The point is you need one or the other. A young guy with little real world experience and no public experience is not who needs to be the most powerful person on Earth.
He'll be nearly 40 before he would take office. I'm not sure why you think he needs to be corrupted by politics to be the POTUS. We've watched an 80 year old man with dementia hold the title. I'm sure a highly intelligent 40 year old could do it.

He's Trump's lackey, therefore not really a conservative.

Could he? Sure, as long as you are willing to put up with a LOT of big mistakes. We have 2 far more proven options, one of which is possibly the most exceptional conservative politician of my lifetime. It takes a lot more than communication skills.

You mentioned it being a problem to "dilute American culture" implying that a young Hindu man wasn't the solution. Well, we have quite the opposite right now and he's doing a **** job.

I dunno, maybe I've misunderstood the message for some time now, but I thought we were the "**** identify politics and let's get the best person for the job in the job", but maybe when the rubber meets the road that's not quite the case.

I really like his idealism. I imagine he is very competent and inspiration as a leader with a small and manageable team. I would like to work with him. I don't trust that he can get things done in the mess that is our federal government where people don't want to be inspired and will work against him. We need things to get done and we have to have a President this time that has an edge of anger and aggressiveness to fight the system rather than simply use and manage it. DeSantis offers that and Trump supporters think Trump does (in spite of 2020).

Democrat policy is to fill this country with non-whites because of their identity politics. Yes, Republicans are against identity politics. There is no reason to import mass amounts of people into this country other than to destroy our identity as a country. There's usually nothing wrong with other cultures, but there wasn't anything wrong with ours either. It didn't need to be replaced.

LMCane, I agree with your assessment.

I do not see America electing him either, but he has figured out the "media" aspect of campaigning. I have been looking at a lot of political media lately, and Vivake has come out of nowhere and now in the Top 3.

I seem to remember another business man that swayed America, handled the media well, and made it to the top. It is possible.

He was also gung ho about pushing out the vaccine as fast as possible and pushing Pharma to do it. He also didn't think they should be blamed "if something goes wrong" as much as getting it out quickly. Fundamentally he is a Big Pharma guy who pushed for mandates and following the science.

For a guy with so little experience he has some pretty big L's.

He is literally 10 years out of college. No.

Smart guy and I am great with him running for another office or serving in some other capacity but we don't need a 37 year old who basically made a bunch of money betting on Pharma that paid off running the country when we have at least 2 more competent options in DeSantis and Trump.
We need younger people leading, not 80 year olds. I would think late 30s to mid 50s would be optimal age.

Just like physical ability, cognitive ability begins degrading in your 30s and beyond. Sure wisdom and knowledge of life is the tradeoff, but only to a certain point.
I'm all for younger people but not 37 as President, especially if they have never held elective office. DeSantis is only 44 but he served in the military, did 6 years in Congress, and has 5 years as Governor. He has diversity of experience and has shown he can lead at a significant but smaller level.

It's the 10 years out of college and no elected experience that makes Vivek a hard no. He can run for Governor or Senate (Ohio has a vulnerable Dem Senator up right now) and gain at least a little seasoning. He would be way over his head as President and the bigger problem is he doesn't even realize it. He really thinks he is just that smart. He has yet to admit he was completely wrong when he went out and said DeSantis was making a mistake against Disney and would lose. He just doesn't have the experience. I want him in the Party and for a future option but he isn't the guy for now and honestly he isn't a serious candidate for now. It's pretty clear he is a Trump lackey designed to take away votes from DeSantis awaiting some payoff from Trump.

Look just a little bit down the chess board, it's pretty obvious.

DeSantis will be 45 in another 6 weeks and 46 by the time he enters the White House.

I mean the point about Biden in a vacuum is fine but this certainly has nothing to do with Vivek.

Him being a manlet is also a problem. He's going to be the smallest man in every single room he ever goes into on the world stage and that's not a good thing. Size: be it muscular or height, matters in geopolitics.

For example, Zelensky always looks ridiculous up against other world leaders and he's the same heigh at Ramaswamy. It's impossible to project power for your nation when you have none personally. It makes you look like you have tiny man syndrome. There is a reason most global leaders tend to be taller than the average in their nation.

Realistically, payoffs are the name of the game in politics and have been for, well, always. If he has established a relationship with Trump that transcends the ego factor, there is almost no end to the important posts he could be named to. IF Trump wins.

Right because Hindus are so tolerant of Christians when they have power, just see India…oh wait.

Sorry, but I'll never trust a pagan to run my nation. Paganism of all forms is demonic, especially Hindu. The only reason they ended human sacrifices is because the British forced them to by the sword. Human sacrifice is the norm for all pagan religions.

I can tell that most of you don't deal with Indians on a daily basis for work. If you did then you would understand lying is the absolute norm, backstabbing is common, cheating is accepted, and the ends always justify the means.

This is absolutely par for the course for every single Indian I have ever worked with in my career except for perhaps 2 of them. They will kiss your ass to the extreme until they get into a position of power and then drive a knife into your back.

I will never trust him. He probably wanted to put together a vaccine database to punish the anti covid vaxxers

Quote:

Before rebranding as a warrior for free speech and a passionate crusader for privacy rights, newly announced presidential contender Vivek Ramaswamy was pitching the U.S. and world governments on his efforts to install a broad, centralized database of private medical records.

In a pursuit forged through one of his subsidiary companies, a "health information" data mining outfit called Datavant, Ramaswamy's outfit pursued the establishment of a single national and global database for all covid-related patient health records.

Through a partnership with Snowflake, a San Francisco based cloud computing company, Ramaswamy wanted to "fight covid-19" by manufacturing a "single repository of all the real-world medical data" thanks to the production of a "national data infrastructure" of private and public patient records, all without the consent of the actual patients.

IMHO, if the statement above is true that completely eliminates him for my consideration as a political leader in any capacity let alone President of the U.S.

That database advocacy is totally against the foundations of our Constitution, Declaration of Independence and common sense. It represents the centralized state a totalitarian would love to obtain.
