Today's Supreme Court ruling that affirmative action is now dead on arrival is all because of Donald Trump and there's nothing you can do about it.

You can bash the guy all you want, and that's fine. You can bash me all you want and that's even more fun. Bring it on today's ruling is because of his presidency.

Credit where credit is due. Trump and McConnell got it done with judicial appointments.

Glad to see this ruling today.

I am glad he said yes to the recommendations given to him by Pence and others. By far the best thing to come from his administration, it really is huge. Doesn't outweigh the devastation inflicted upon this country by him saying yes to Fauci and others for so long though...at least not in the short term. Countless lives ruined by Trump/Fauci.

His real legacy is he turned the ruling class on their heads. They now have shown themselves to be the grifters they are, that they cannot be trusted and that they are our enemies. Before him some people believed this but were dismissed as Dale Gribbles. Now any thinking person knows it's us against them and it's time we take our country back from the scum like Biden. Thanks to him a light was shined on the vermin.

Well Trump himself is pro affirmative action but yes the SC made a great ruling and Trump appointed 3 of the Justices that voted for it. They aren't quite the level of Thomas and Alito but they have been good so far.

I tend to think the country won more than Trump as well. I really don't see what any of this has to do with you LDP, are you just gaming for a fight?

Trumps presidency doesn't happen if McConnell doesn't hold off Obama's nomination for scalias seat. Without that carrot for republicans Hillary would have been the president.

But much of this board thinks McConnell is something lower than human excrement

Don't hold your breath. When the court turns liberal again, and it will at some point, this ruling will be overturned. The courts have gotten too political.

A broken clock is right twice a day. As the other poster said, Trump was fine with affirmative action. Trump is unfit to be President and so is Biden. We have 300 million + people in this country and this is the best we can do?

I support the ruling today. Biden's speech was ridiculous. Other than the Dobbs decision (which I don't really care about, but I think it ought to be left up to the individual person for the first 15 weeks as does most of the country), I am thinking this will be a very good court.

Thanks Trump (oh God, did I just say that?)

DeSantis v. Newsome in '24 for a decision based on ideology, not personality or health or who owns whom on social media. And then DeSantis pulls it out to be POTUS for 8 years. That's how it SHOULD go down. Instead it will be Felony Traitor Trump v. Bribery Dementia Crackhead Son Biden.

January 2025, the Democrats will pack the Court with at least 6 die hard Marxist justices.

Always amused at the Biden voters wanting to lecture about how awful things are and that only Trump is the traitor...but Newsome would be sane on ideology and isn't about personality.

The Bush family
McCain
Romney and Pierre Dilecto
Paul Ryan
The media which doesn't even pretend to be impartial any longer
The entire alphabet government which doesn't even pretend any longer to be impartial

but do not get ahead of yourself, dear consultant since you ran in here with your inflammatory OP and chest thumping vs those you imply are anti-Trump. there are many easy work-arounds universities can implement to achieve the same outcome witout being overt about it. The MSM is already lining those up and breaking them down for everyone to see.

Newsome wouldn't be sane on ideology. But he probably knows his name all the time and knows where he is. Biden and Trump are National Security Risks.

DeSantis would be clearly better on ideology.

Let's not forget, Trump rose to the White House based on ideology. The media made it about his personality.

Trump is neither a traitor nor a felon. The dems and media have created that narrative. Once again, driving the current narrative even if everyone knows they are liars.

Trump nominated the judges, he gets the credit. Of course, it couldn't have been done without George Bush and George W Bush also. Victory for them.

He does. Though you do have to wonder who the judges would have been without Pence whispering in his ear. Judge Jeanine and Judy Judy? "They have YUGE ratings".

Him sitting there silent on Jan 6 for hours to see how it goes down was repugnant. What he said about his vice president was repugnant. Their "plan" to have Pence not certify and do the whole fake elector thing was repugnant. Only Chris Christie has the stones to admit it and call him on it.

"Accidentally" taking the docs was ok. Biden and Pence did that too. Ignoring repeated requests and subpoenas and lying about it was not.

Trump's only ideology is Trump.

And it would be better for the country if Biden were just a cardboard cut out they move around from place to place.

Democrats are extremely upset that they can not keep their racist behaviors. Affirmative action is the very definition of being racist. It is the negative action taken against someone because of their skin color. A physical action that negatively effects an individual.

Do not let democrats tell you they are for the American individual. They are for govt. control and that is it! Blacks need to wake the f up and start thinking for themselves and I mean ALL of you. You are being lead around by some power hungry political party. It is damn sad.

It's very possible. The Democrat Vote Creation Machine is probably going to produce the majorities this time for the House and Senate. I think the majorities will have to become super majorities, which probably won't happen by 2025, but it's not out of the realm of possibility. The scary idea is getting Gavin Newsom for 8 years with a full control of the entire Congress. He's the Fully White Obama. I'll gladly take Biden for 4 more years over the idea of Newsom being in office. With Biden, there are still issues and stumbling blocks to a full Amerika being installed. The Newsom Presidency would be a complete installation of Amerika.
