The head of NARA saw Trump leaving after the inauguration and saw they had "some boxes" and that's what started the whole thing.
This was planned before the inauguration. The head of NARA hates Trump's guts and the left is totally corrupt. This is just a continuation of what started before Trump was elected.
Is there no end to the depths that conspiracy theorists will go?

Trump wasn't indicted over classified documents. Biden has classified documents. Trump was indicted because he wasn't in the inner circle.

The unsealed motion reveals Jack Smith's top prosecutor, Jay Bratt, met with a top Biden aide in September 2021 before any classified documents were discovered at Mar-a-Lago.
Bratt met with an aide to Biden's White House Chief of Staff Ron Klain in September 2021.

Per Julie Kelly: Jay Brattwho led investigation into classified docs then moved to Jack Smith's team after he was appointedmet with aide to WH chief of staff Ron Klain in Sept. 2021

Yes, that really is amazing.

I am legitimately starting to think this whole thing could get dismissed. Not likely, but it is plausible at this point.

I think Judge Cannon is unpeeling the onion as best as she can. It is tragic that the American left has come to this.

It is equally sad that there is not a leftist on here, or anywhere that I have seen, who will stand up and demand an end to their party's corruption.
What are you talking about, this isn't any proof, this is just solid govt investigation going after a soon to be felon.

At least that is what I think they would say if they had the intestinal fortitude to show up and comment.
Sarcasm duly noted.

Quote:

Top Biden administration officials worked with the National Archives to develop Special Counsel Jack Smith's case against Donald Trump involving the former president's alleged mishandling of classified material, according to recently unsealed court documents in the case pending in southern Florida.

More than 300 pages of newly unredacted exhibits, containing emails and other correspondence related to the early stages of the hunt for presidential papers, challenge public statements by Joe Biden about what he knew and when he knew it regarding the case against his political rival.
Quote:

The new disclosures indicate the Department of Justice was in touch with the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) during much of 2021, undermining the DOJ's claims that it became involved in the matter only after the Archives sent it a criminal referral on February 9, 2022, based on the findings of records with "classified markings" in 15 boxes of materials Trump gave to the Archives a month prior.

The court exhibits, which were compiled by Trump's defense lawyers and kept under seal until last week, also show that Deputy White House Counsel Jonathan Su regularly communicated with Archive officials.

Although Biden himself is not mentioned in the exhibits, the active participation of Su and other high-ranking White House officials raises questions about whether Biden was forthright when he told "60 Minutes" he wasn't involved in the investigation.
"I have not asked for the specifics of those documents," Biden told Scott Pelley in the Sept. 17 broadcast, "because I don't want to get myself in the middle of whether or not the Justice Department should move or not move on certain actions they could take. I agreed I would not tell them what to do and not, in fact, engage in telling them how to prosecute or not."

Quote:

A protracted battle ensued as Smith fought to keep large portions of the motion and accompanying exhibits from the public. Smith told Cannon that disclosing the material would jeopardize the investigation and expose potential witnesses and government employees to "significant and immediate risks of threats, intimidation, and harassment."

But Cannon, arguing the need for public transparency, authorized the unsealing of the files, which were posted in mostly unredacted form on April 22. A comparison of the redacted and unredacted material shows the Archives acted in concert with several Biden administration agencies to build the case -- coordination that included the DOJ, the Biden White House, and the intelligence community.
Quote:

Within weeks of Trump's leaving office in 2021, employees with Biden's Office of Records Management and the Archives began coordinated demands to Trump's transition team, including former Chief of Staff Mark Meadows.

Gary Stern, the Archives general counsel, noting "several conversations" with records office employees to discuss "concerns" about material in Trump's possession, emailed Trump's team in May 2021 and asked them to account for "roughly two dozen boxes of original Presidential records [that] have not been transferred to NARA."

If true, I have no doubt it is true, FBI agents, Prosecutors and anyone else involved needs to be prosecuted to full extent of the law. They should be fired with prejudice and lose all benefits.
If true this is unconscionable, unethical, dishonest and dishonorable.

NPR running interference by launching investigation of Cannon over alleged undeclared trips to judicial conference in Montana.

Hijacks the narrative for the upcoming week and we'll hear demands for recusal.

How bad is it when you got to call in Mary Louise Kelly to get a lick in on Cannon?

They know Jack Smith's case is going down the tubes so now they're desperate and are reaching out to all their media cronies to run interference to try to take down Cannon or to try to for her recusal so Jack Smith can get a friendly judge. Try to salvage this nightmare.

The state cases have gone to crap, and the J6 case is on life support, and now this documents case that they were really counting on is going down the toilet court from here on out It's full court press

Pretty absurd imho especially after the General Flynn trial (Emmet Sullivan) and now Juan Merchan up in NY (yes, I know, state trial).

All BS, as usual, as honest and trustworthy as a statement from Fani Willis about her 'apolitical' prosecution.

As I read Jordan's letter am I to understand that the issue being made here is that some documents in some of the boxes were not in the same order in which they were found when first seized?

Sure...

So, now that you agree with that. And that the documents have been moved without documenting It.

Can you guarantee that every document in there was actually in there when it was seized?

I mean you could take the DOJ's word...but then they just admitted that their claims in the initial filing aren't true...

Trump headquarters got wiretapped in 2015 and since then they thrown everything but the kitchen sink at Trump.

Now 182-days before the election you got this dude popping his head out the woodpile saying tampered evidence is a bridge too far.

It looks like this about "intra-box document sequencing," something that should have no bearing on Nauta's CIPA Section 5 disclosure, especially considering he is not facing any Sec 793 charges. Bratt noted that this was just another delay tactic by Nauta, which the judge is more than happy to oblige.

I am aware of some MSM reporting in 2017 that Manafort was wiretapped as early as 2014 but none of the investigations into the investigations ever confirmed this. Carter Page was wiretapped *after* he left the Trump campaign. None of this establishes that "Trump HQ" was wiretapped.

Funny watching this sycophant prattle on about how all of this is totally on the up and up.

They're after judge cannon again because they finally figured out what she's doing to smith and co and how well it is going to work. Someone posted it a few pages back but she's running the "let George costanza drive all the way to the hamptons" play with this case. Never has to enter a single order where smith and media cronies have to run crying to 11th circuit.
