Oh yeah? I thought this was a subject of huge interest to you particularly though. Guess not. You just like posting polls to Texags I guess. I'm glad you're happy though.

Sorry bud…I'm not going to waste my time on something pointless…two governors sparring on Hannity…most of America doesn't care…

Like it or not…that's reality…and that's why DeSantis will lose…

He isn't "must see" for the average American…

I can watch a rerun tomorrow…

You keep trolling with this comment.

The "rural vote" means nada. Trump would lose 40+ states if all that votes for him in any number is the "rural vote."

OK. And that's fine. But you still posted about Desantis polling numerous times during the debate. I guess those polls were "must see" right now.....again.

That is the issue with your candidate, snubs rural America. Represents millions and millions of voters.

Truth hurts but your candidate really screwed up by thinking he can sell Trump's message better than Trump.

The way you wrote it was unclear. It appeared to me you were saying he would win by 5-7 points.

If that is not what you meant, then mea culpa.

I was watching both. The game on my laptop and the debate on both of my hotel TVs.

ETA: The reason the game wasn't on one of the hotel TVs was because it was not available on any of the channels. But, the DEBATE was. Must see TV.

They are at least opinions supported by data…I have been begging for months for folks to show me data that contradicts the polling data…

All I get is pro-DeSantis tweets and "the polls are just wrong"…no data to counter with…
aggie93 has shown data regarding people committing to caucus for DeSantis for at least a month - over 3 times as many as Cruz had (Cruz won).

There's some data.

That's not data…that's people saying they are going to do something with no contractual obligation to do so whatsoever…

It's encouraging for DeSantis, but it by no means reflects the attitude of the entire state, nor does it guarantee they will do as they have pledged…

It's a meaningless warm and fuzzy…
So people actually signing up and committing to Caucus isn't Data but a poll (and there has been very little polling in Iowa recently) of a few hundred people is Gospel and cannot be wrong.

Look, if you could at least admit that polls shift and that National Polls in a Primary are not a good indicator I'd be a lot more open but you keep picking on those data points and saying with absolute certainty that they are the only data that matters.

It's just not true.

Every election cycle is different and has variables that are different from prior cycles. No one knows for sure what will happen in 45 Days in Iowa or who will win the Nomination or who will win the General.

Yup…sure do…and why? Because the supposed "caucus pledges" is but one data point…these polls, when looking at the averages, use multiple data points…

And even still, Iowa is a terrible predictor for non-incumbent R nominees…terrible…

Watch New Hampshire…I think Mew Hampshire tells the tale…
New Hampshire is 2 weeks after Iowa. That's an eternity and the results in Iowa will absolutely impact NH.

The Sununu endorsement will also be very important, he is by far the most powerful and popular politician in a small state and his family name is massive there.

I believe for DeSantis (or Haley) to have a chance on caucus day in Iowa, then need to be less than 10 pts from Trump in the polls…

Now they do that in the next 46 days, then game on…

I just don't know of anyone who has closed 20+ points in 6 weeks…
There has been very little polling in Iowa over the last couple of months and I haven't seen any good polling post Reynolds and Vander Platte endorsements. The last Des Moines Register Poll, which has typically been the most accurate, was Oct 30 or over a month ago.

Except there are not enough people left in "rural America" to decide the outcome of any presidential election.

The elections are won or lost in the small to midsized towns/cities, and in the suburbs.

Small town and mid size towns make up rural America especially the ones that are not connected to interstate highway.

Trump is curb stomping Desantis in these areas, well, really in all areas per the polls.

Bizarre! what is your point that the Rural 5% are backing Trump? I know a good number that back DeSantis but these are the smart ones that actually think about and understand how things work. After all these are the producers and the makers.

Lots of smart people in rural America. why insult them by tying some of them to the proud New York Yankee that was a democrat doner and Hillary backer only 15 short years ago. Thats not cool.

Elections are won in the suburbs, specifically currently in the Atlanta, Philly, Milwaukee and Phoenix suburbs. Those people hate Trump, mostly because they are typically highly educated and smart enough to recognize that he's an unserious clown.

Rural America has unfortunately been tricked into thinking a lifelong democrat New York billionaire who has never worked hard a day in his life is on their side, but they'll hopefully figure it out eventually.

All True. Then you should back a candidate that can win and would definitely have the back of Red State America. DeSantis is what some of y'all think Trumps is.

Trump is a New Yorker as in the City of. He doesn't know jack about rural America, or middle America. Granted he is much better than the far left democrat party. But the man has way to much baggage.

Back someone that can and will benefit the people of Rural America- The people the entire world relies on for their next meal. These essential people deserve better than a New York game show host.

I love the irony that Trump literally spent weeks going after DeSantis for wearing Cowboy Boots yet he is the savior of Rural Americans. The disconnect just baffles me.

Last night showed Desantis would dominate a debate vs. Biden. Newsom was the best the Dems have to offer and looked terrible.

Trump would not debate Biden/Newsom as well or be as articulate. You can see 2020 as an example and his rambling against Biden.

Accomplished young successful conservative governor who actually fights against the Left and wins vs Biden or

Old rambling fomer president out for revenge against the swamp but will likely fail because he didn't do a damn thing when in office and hired the most incompetent lawyers during the most critical time of his presidency vs Biden.
