Yes... that's it. It's all TDS and cry / laughs when someone doesn't worship at the altar of your geriatric orange king.

It took massive cheating to beat Trump in 2020 due to this huge democrat lead in labor. He also got record number of minority votes due to his actually helping them with good, high paying jobs. If Trump wins the nomination, he's going after those that now have learned their lessons. If DeSantis wins, he has to hammer HARD a similar America first narrative or these people that historically vote democrat will again vote democrat.

The messaging doesn't have to be exactly the same to bring in votes besides the Republican base. DeSantis brings in voters who want sanity both in society as well as their presidents behavior. You can see the tide is starting to turn, and "woke" is becoming a dirty word. Desantis is the de facto leader in that fight on the Republican side.

LOL

Not worshiping Trump is not TDS. That's stupid.

Saying a politician's last stop at coaching a decade ago is a better indication of his political success than is actual success at converting a democrat senate seat to republican a few years ago IS TDS.

So, just like Trump, his best days are behind him. Fitting.
In football, not politics. He beat the **** out of an incumbent democrat to win his senate seat, which was a couple of years ago.

But I get what TDS does to one's brain and would ELEVATE the relavence of his football coaching career a decade ago to his senate campaign where he won by 20 points.

LOL. He beat a democrat in ALABAMA. R Roy Moore previously lost to D Doug Jones because he was an accused pedo. That's the only reason a D won in Alabama.

R could have run a cardboard cutout and won the election by double digits.

Doug Jones was toast the day he took office. Roy Moore almost beat him and he was an accused pedo.

Let's not act like a Senate race in Alabama should be hard.

I seriously can't understand how any relatively intelligent person can believe that Trump is a better general election candidate than DeSantis

and all the Trumpists over the last 6 months have never actually given ANY analysis as to why Trump would be the strongest CANDIDATE to take on the leftists.
LMCane

From Mike Pence kickoff:

"Trump, he said, "endangered my family and everyone at the Capitol" on the 6th. "But the American people deserve to know that on that day, President Trump also demanded I choose between him and our Constitution. Now voters will be faced with the same choice."

"I believe anyone that puts themselves over the Constitution should never be president of the United States, and anyone who asks someone else to put them over the Constitution should never be president of the United Sates again," he said.

Pence has spent much of the past two-and-a-half-years obliquely criticizing Trump, trying to navigate his political future in a party that has been transformed in Trump's image. But Wednesday, as he made his pitch to voters for the first time as a declared candidate, he did not hold his tongue.

He accused the former president of abandoning the conservative values he ran on, including on abortion. Pence, who supports a national ban on the procedure said that, "After leading the most pro-life administration in American history, Donald Trump and others in this race are retreating from the cause of the unborn. The sanctity of life has been our party's calling for half a century long before Donald Trump was a part of it. Now he treats it as an inconvenience, even blaming our election losses in 2022 on overturning Roe v. Wade."

Trump has declined to say what limits he supports nationally and has blamed some midterm candidates' rhetoric for their losses last November.

Been waiting for six months for ANY Trumpist

to write a cogent analysis of exactly why Trump is the best candidate to be the nominee in 2024.

Has anyone seen any response?

it's a pretty important question I would think. Considering if you ACTUALLY WANT TO WIN an election.

The strongest argument is foreign policy record and that's valid. Trump was awfully damn solid on foreign policy and not starting wars. They can also bring up the economy up until 2020 but don't want to talk about anything that happened in 2020 outside of excusing it.

Outside of that though it's "proven warrior" language and maybe some debate clips with Hillary or Jeb from 7 years ago.

I'll give him the foreign policy stuff. Whether it was his personality or people simply didn't want to deal with him, the world stayed fairly neutral for 4 years.

Unfortunately, that was 70 year old Trump. I'm becoming more and more convinced that 76 year old Trump is starting to lose his marbles.

So you agree DeSantis is getting dragged unfairly? Deal.

It's pretty disgusting when anyone claims DeSantis, who volunteered for the Navy and served in Iraq and Gitmo, is somehow less caring about vet than Trump who did everything he could to avoid service. Trump was good to vets but DeSantis has a STRONG record on vets and actually served. DeSantis has done a LOT for vets in Florida and is always looking for ways to come up to help them out, the recruiting bonuses for ex military to become teachers is a good example.

The difference is he doesn't do dumb, unnecessary **** like paying off porn stars, keeping documents he doesn't need to keep or calling the head of elections in Georgia and asking him to "find 11,000 votes." No question the left goes way overboard on most of what they've charged trump with but he definitely makes it easier on them by being an undisciplined idiot.

In contrast, basically everything DeSantis says or does has already been legally vetted and carefully planned internally before they move forward. I think the immigrant stunts are potentially a bad political move because it only motivates people who are already voting for him, but no way they'd be doing this if there was any actual legal danger to it.

So, DeSantis carefully vetted the flights of illegals from Florida to Martha's Vinyard? Doesn't seem to matter.
Did DeSantis carefully vet the flights of illegals from Florida to California? Again, Doesn't seem to matter.
Did DeSantis vet pictures taken of him when he was a teacher partying with young students?
Did DeSantis vet the providers of a fundraiser, that included Maderna lobbyist Marc Lampkin, who is registered as a foreign agent for a Chinese semi-conductor manufacturer. No doubt they will continue to come for DeSantis and they already have. DeSantis just runs a much, much tighter ship and has a demeanor that is a lot harder to build sentiment against him. Trump is an easy guy to hate and certainly to think of as a liar. He loves to step into it constantly. DeSantis has destroyed the folks who have come after him so far. Sucks though that it is an issue but until we can get someone in there that can actually fix the problem it's going to be there. Trump has already shown he can't do it and his AG and FBI appointments were probably his worst and he surrounded himself constantly with people he couldn't trust. Even now he is talking to his friend Maggie from the NYT thinking THIS time she will treat him fairly.

I mean, yes. Not sure what point you're trying to make with the first two lines about the flights. Nothing will end up happening to him legally because his team knows there's no standing and made sure of it before the flights were made.

One picture was from what, 20 years ago? No one cares. Trump's fellow democrats already tried to run with it and it didn't go anywhere.

And the donor issue is such a non-story that I hadn't even heard about it, and I typically follow a lot of this stuff.

As for Pence and Biden, they both immediately reported the documents right? Seems like the opposite of what trump did.

Also not really sure why you'd even have a problem with someone calling him an undisciplined moron. I figured that's part of what you trump lemmings like about him.

Looking forward to the next 8 consecutive crylaugh troll posts though.
