I've always considered the story to be a 100% fabrication.

Satoshi has got to be a cover story. the biggest cover story hiding in plain sight of all time.

It might be appropriate to think of Satoshi as a name for the aggregate people that came up with Bitcoin.

It's weird how Texas just protected "Tulips" in their laws, the US also holds 200k of these "tulips."

The mental gymnastics one must go through to continue ignoring or demeaning bitcoin is far more difficult than actually learning and using it.

I dont recall tulips, in their 6 month craze amongst a rare bunch of wealthy Dutch during a currency crisis, being adopted into nations laws, but I don't know how much capacity you have for reality if you're calling bitcoin tulips.

Come on OP, future citizens won't have access to true history as that will be re-written by whoever the future leaders are. I'm pretty sure that's that is how it works.

Money is an illusion and banking is part of that plan. The money in your wallet is only valuable if someone else desires it (and so on).

I have on my wall, framed and behind glass, is a one hundred million Mark note (German).

My father picked it up in Germany during WWII when a bomb (or shell) hit a German bank near their position. When they advanced forward they walked through a storm of German marks raining down on them. Unfortunately, they were Weimar Republic notes, but of course the G.I.s did not know that at the time.

FYI the 100 million mark note is worth about $7.50 today.

It's cyclical, for instance the catholic church tried banning the Gutenburg Press so that translated bibles couldn't be made en masses and/or they would secure their hold over the uneducated/unreading masses, the Gutenberg folks started printing books on how to make their presses, and distributed them far and wide, preventing monopolization.

I'm certain AI will have a methodology to centralize information flows, and an alternative will distribute it outside if centralized control, as it always has been.

We passed around a Hundred Trillion Zimbabwe Note at the Houston Bitcoin meetup back in 2013/14.

Where do you see us in 25 years? Specifically, will the middle class be the same size or will it expand? Include how it will happen.

What will law enforcement and crime rates be?

First there's an assumption that having a middle class or tiers at all is the best route forward. I'm not arguing but if we're reinventing society at the moment let's drop all assumptions first and start at 0.

I imagine a far flatter society in the future, ease to move up and down as we transition to a proof of work model instead of wealth accumulation and consolidation.

Wealthy is energy: the ability to do work. Work has value.

Who to you think the environmentalist climate change movement has so many authoritarian political and corporate backers? It determines what forms of energy we are allowed to use politically and those that dominate those energy sources are heavily invested in making sure they artificially have greater value by political manipulation.

Materials also represent the ability to do work as they are required to facilitate an end state or the energy use process, so they have value.

It will be about the same as it is now, with different toys, different people to blame, and different reasons that the world is coming to an end.
