The main purpose of an age limit is to make these ****ers live with the consequences of their decisions for as long as possible. You have to wonder if many of these asshats think they will be dead before the negative impact of their legislation really kicks in.

Senate is 6 year term, congress is 2 year term. I would go with 2 Senate terms and 5 congress terms. 10 years is plenty of time to get your legislative goals accomplished.

I remember when they use to carry Sen Byrd in and out of the Senate on a gurney when they needed his vote. I believe that he was at least 95. The whole scene was ridiculous and pathetic.

I am pretty sure that both Sen Kennedy and Sen McCain both died from cancer in office. Neither probably did not set foot into the Senate the last few months of their lives.

None of these people along with Feinstein and Fetterman are serving their voters or their state when they are in this sort of condition. Their voters, their state and the nation deserve real thoughtful engaged representatives.

There should be some kind of mental test for public office.

Televised.

Probably get better ratings than the NFL.

The rule should be - whatever age a citizen begins receiving 100% social security benefits is also the ceiling for all elected officials and federal bureaucrats.

Edit to say that there are 54 senators older than 65 today.
