The vast majority of times a child is shot is due to gang/drug related activity or really irresponsible parents.

If you are genuinely concerned about 5 year old being shot, what are you willing to do about that fact?

The number of guns I own has increased much more than 90% since 2011, and none of my guns have ever killed anyone.

Show me the graph of the % of population prescribed SRS drugs by year.

You probably only have to go back to the 1980's when all the asylums were shuttered.

A military rifle cost $30,000+ in the US and requires a 9 month plus waiting period, $200 tax stamp, stringent ATF/FBI background check, submission of fingerprints/passport photos, and transfer trough an FFL. Not easy to obtain to say the least!

I've never once encountered a gun control advocate that had even a rudimentary understanding of the inanimate objects they want to ban.

You can always recognize a liberal dimwit's solution to a problem, because it will involve writing another new law.

This is especially true when prosecutors and politicians refuse to hold offenders responsible for their acts by actually punishing them. The way in which a weapon can be obtained. There are guns in other countries and none of them have this problem. Uvalde, Cleveland, Allen and countless others since 2021 when you're able to carry without a license.

I only have 1 "military rifle" and that is a M1 Garand. They typically aren't used in illegal activities.

I've had plenty of bad days but have NEVER THOUGHT about going on a shooting rampage at a school or anywhere else. Why? Because I'm not a lunatic or someone who feels slighted and has to make people pay.
I'm an old fart that grew up in an age when there were consequences for your actions. Corporal punishment in schools, plain old fist fights after school, parents that would light into me when I did something wrong. We weren't coddled and it shows.

The fact that you "own firearms" but don't know what military rifles are makes me think you probably would be for gun bans because you don't have a full understanding of firearms.
