My party?

Stop with your BS.... gun violence is up... so, what about mental illness? Depression? LGBTQ?

You wanna throw out percentages that fit your agenda and ignore the ****hole that society has become while blaming it on a f'ing "party?"

What a miserable human.

Why don't you go back to arguing for your weed to be legal... that'll fix the problems, right?

The underlying issue is mental illness not guns. I have never met a mentally ill gun.

I know it's early in the game but do we know anything about this shooter. The silence seems …
Deafening.

So make restrictions tighter so mentally ill can't walk into Academy and pick up a semi automatic

Which of these two individuals would you deny based on visible criteria for mental illness?

As a liberal, is a subjective "obviously mentally ill" criteria a bias that you really want?

Stronger gun laws such as red flag laws, universal BG checks, more stringent regulations for purchasing weapons like AR15s, and harsher punishment for crimes committed with a firearm would likely drive down the overall gun violence numbers. It's about the overall numbers, not isolated incidents.

Also a strong public mental healthcare system, and an end to the gross gun obsessed culture. both of which republicans have always been staunchly against.

It's impossible to say with certainty what law could have prevented a given shooting, so I reject your tiresome gotcha attempt. Also not many facts are known about this one yet.

We've tried the Republican strategy of doing absolutely nothing and it hasn't worked.

Stop directing your anger at me. This is not my fault.

The Australian argument is not true. Gun violence and crime has increased there since they took guns away from people that obtained them legally.

I know who it is... he's got the cognitive abilities of a piss ant.

Spend 30 years preaching "if it feels good, do it" and then when the chickens come home to roost.... blame guns.

So your argument is that the shooter purchased these guns legally?

I don't know the answer to that question yet. But because of Republican policies on guns, they are more common than people and it's easier than ever to obtain one. All about that gun lobby $$$$$$

The uvalde shooter however did get his guns legally and stronger gun laws very well could have prevented that, given the timing of it. No one ever likes talking about that.

We've adhered to the Constitutional Bill of Rights and it has worked as intended.
