... 76 men, women and children at the Branch Division compound outside of Waco.

And no one was punished.

After watching the recent Netflix doc on this, it truly is frightening how the feds operate. Made a terrible decision to raid, got 4 agents killed, uped the ante and ended with multiple men, women, and children dead.
And an FBI SWAT dude took a selfie in front of the burned ruins...

It was more the ATF, and while I think that the actions of the ATF and to a lesser extent the FBI had a substantial role in how this turned out and they did a terrible job of the entire event, it sure looks like the actual deaths besides the raid shootout were a cult murder suicide by arson and gun. Just a horrible thing from start to finish.

Could've been avoided by just waiting it out and arresting Koresh sometime when he was away from the compound.

Never trust a 3-letter agency. And the ATF should've been disbanded long ago.

All the feds had to do was wait them out, but Clinton and Reno wanted to score a victory.

Heck, the initial raid was all about setting the narrative about the nation being flooded with illegal guns and we need to rid ourselves of them by outlawing guns completely.
"If you will not fight for right when you can easily win without blood shed; if you will not fight when your victory is sure and not too costly; you may come to the moment when you will have to fight with all the odds against you and only a precarious chance of survival. There may even be a worse case. You may have to fight when there is no hope of victory, because it is better to perish than to live as slaves." - Sir Winston Churchill

Unfortunately I could see a false flag op this week.

Blaming the FBI and ATF on those deaths is not correct, though they contributed to an environment of chaos, stress, pressure, etc knowing they had a powder keg of crazy man / people, anti-gov fanatics, weapons, explosives, etc.

They deserve all of the blame for escalating the situation and setting the circumstances up. But the decision to light those fires remains with Koresh.

I agree. The feds set up the circumstances under which a ln apocalyptic cult killed themselves after an unnecessary and horribly botched raid got ATF agents killed.

I don't. The government burned that place down. Anyone who doubts that hasn't been watching our government operate since 2016.

And the Davidians were lunatics.

I always wonder what the end game was--it seems pretty clear they poured fuel out in the wings of the building and a lot of people knew it.

Even a survivor admitted to seeing davidians pour coleman fuel the morning of the tear gas.

Crazy.

That said, the FBI and ATF are total losers and absolutely botched this as they did with countless other examples.

The ATF and FBI should be disbanded, defunded, and left to local state branches.

The ATF and FBI HRT were also behind Ruby Ridge. What an outstanding job they did... Once they finished taking pictures of each other over the ashes in Waco they got busy running guns to Mexico.

Why? Because he didn't puzz out and fold to the feds? Pfffft.

They had a horde of illegal weapons and were gathering more at an alarming rate. They expected the feds to come calling again.

Add in reports (since verified by those who were inside) of rampant child abuse and sexual exploitation and I believe the Feds had a right to inspect the property and investigate.

That said, every decision they made about when, how and where to perform that operations were fantastically stupid and costs lives.

No excuses for a pedophile loon who set fire to his own followers.

Don't think anyone is defending Koresh. We just don't think it's good to burn the very kids you're trying to help.

ATF/FBI could have grabbed him any time they wanted. They needed a public win and as you said, went full FUBAR.

Could've arrested koresh while he was jogging but the dumb****s at the atf wanted attention…

Then the fbi is supposed to clean up the mess & they manage to make it worse

30 years later our fed agencies are still dog****

Koresh had a decent relationship with McLennan County Sheriff Jack Harwell. Harwell could have called him and he would likely have come in.

Absolutely agree. And not near enough accountability was placed on Reno, Clinton, and the 3 letter agencies involved.

That should have marked the end of the ATF right there and a disband of the FBI's HRT.

And them not being held to account contributed greatly… very greatly to the mess we endure today.

Why didn't the atf just arrest koresh while he was out jogging around Waco?

They knew this was his normal routine multiple times a week….

I don't think anyone is choosing to make either of those losers heroes. You can recognize both the fact that Koresh needed dealing with and that the methods employed by the ATF/FBI HRT displayed astounding incompetence are true.

There were no heroes in Waco.

If Koresh had been captured after the siege started, then he would have no status as this freedom fighter martyr hero. He would simply be a death cult leader who like to stick his wankie in little kids.

Not just one, almost all of them took selfies. In addition the majority took home "trophies" as keepsakes of the event

They could have arrested him at the pizza parlor but for some reason wanted to wait until he got back to the compound. It was a huge mistake! I guess to serve the warrant.

Uhhh, how eerily and scarily your statement can be applied to the woke / trans / groomer movement.

No sex unless its with someone who has cut their peen off even if you don't want to have sex with a woman who used to be a man. Do not do so is a "sin" for them.

Koresh was a crazy with a huge Messiah complex (of which the FBI and ATF were well aware). The Davidians were brainwashed sheep (of which the FBI and ATF were aware). The Davidians poured fuel around the compound. The FBI and ATF poured even more of another kind of fuel around the compound. The botched raid, the psy ops, the ratcheting up of stresses, and oh my, those crazies did something unimaginable! Who could have seen this coming?!?

Who knows who "lit the match"? Who cares? The FBI certainly didn't when they sent in tanks and launched pyrotechnics.

You sit there and poke and poke a crazy man with a gun, you don't get to say, "He shot me! Poor pitiful me!"

But let's feel bad for the poor poor pitiful death cult leader that said he was the lamb of God.

The hero worship of the Branch Davidians lead to this:

The FBI and ATF made plenty of mistakes, but they murdered no one. David Koresh murdered those people and no amount of spin changes that fact.
