They also have Valentine's theme nights for couples. Weird, right?
Yes, it is weird. As are adults who go to Disney without kids.

Did Disneyworld for my honeymoon

They also offer a disability pass so my kid doesn't have to wait in the long lines. They are truly monsters.

I challenge you to find a kid (not an angsty teenager) that's visited within the past 5 and didn't consider one of the best moments of their lives.

Have you even been lately? Have you ever been at all? Or are you unwittingly spouting what the rage machine told you to? They're still a place for families.

No, you didn't get that right, your reading comprehension skills are poor. I'm saying Disney is pathetic for injecting this stuff into American content for the sake of political clout, while simultaneously (and hypocritically) embracing the Chinese Market. That's why the cut John Boyega from the Chinese Star Wars posters. They also thanked the local Chinese authorities in Xinjiang after they were allowed to film Mulan during the whole Uyghur Muslim work camp fiasco 2 years ago. Don't you think that's a little slimy?

Its super common. I've done it with my wife - not a whole trip but certainly as a small part of a larger trip.

And don't forget that especially Disneyland is right there in LA. Tons and tons of locals that do this as a date night.

You do realize that they've got tons of grown up stuff to do there, right? It's not all Dumbo and Small World.

I've known many people who never went to Disneyland is Disney world, but now go every year with their kids since they added that star wars stuff.

My reading comprehension is just fine, Your ability to put thought to words is lacking.

none of us are mind readers. How would anyone know you're going off topic. We're talking about gay nights and you're talking about something-something China. If you're going to veer off topic, at least provide some context (and start a new thread while you're at it).

I just visited, for the first time, Disneyworld in march. Both of my daughters, 4 and 7, loved it. They did the botique thing in Cinderella castle and I don't think, at least the oldest, will ever forget that experience.

My wallet sure won't.

So your response to a 1 sentence comment is not to ask for clarification about what I meant, but to make assumptions that I'm just simping for the Chinese and I don't like people expressing their opinions? You say you're not a mind reader but you certainly did make a broad assumption about a stranger on the internet. Please touch grass dude you spend too much time here.

A fantasy land designed for children is promoting an agenda that culminates in preying on children? Who could have seen that!?

But for real, Disney has made their agenda known. They should receive zero dollars from concerned citizens regardless of voting pattern.
Posted this before.

June 2013. My wife and I took our sons (7 and 4 at the time) to Disneyworld. We got to Magic Kingdom early as we had early entrance for staying in a Disney resort. We were with two other families with similar aged kiddos. I was standing with our stuff while the moms were getting organized and a plane flew overhead pulling a banner that said "Parents beware, it's Gay Day at Disneyworld". I kind of had a WTF moment then looked down on that massive parking lot and noticed that the busses were dumping out literally hundreds, no thousands, of people wearing mostly red or blue t-shirts.

Spare you most of the details. What happened after that was one of most f'd up things I have ever witnessed in my life. I simply could not believe that adults would swarm a place that is by design for kids and families, dressed as they were and acting the way they did. The shirts alone were atrocious. It could never have entered my brain that I would have my seven year old son ask me what was meant by a picture of a burger with an arrow pointing to the meat patty and the caption "I would like to be there" was supposed to mean. Or the personalized shirts with phone numbers and what to text for certain sex acts. And even worse.

Shortly after noon, after riding Splash Mountain, I took my young sons to use the bathroom under said attraction. The bathroom was filled with gay men and the stalls in the back were packed with groups of men and you could clearly see their phones held up high filming "whatever" was going on in the stall. I stood behind my sons while they peed then marched them out and declared to our group we were leaving.

I'm not intending this post to paint all gays with a broad brush. I had a stack of fast passes for Space Mountain and we were leaving so I walked up to a group of what were nicely dressed, clean cut, but clearly gay men (they looked like FBI agents lol) and gave them our passes since we were leaving. They were cool and a couple apologized for all the bullsh** they were well aware was going on. Peace out.

Anyway, can't deny the lasting impact it had on my wife and I and of course our sons. Worst public behavior I have ever seen but I'll never get over how so many adults could so brazenly conduct themselves as such at place meant for kids, parents, and families to make memories.

Not to beat this topic to death, but I'm very surprised Disney relaxed its usual dress code. They typically won't let girls come in if they are just wearing a bikini top, right?

That's a lot of money to spend to have you feel uncomfortable, sorry to hear that.

Uncomfortable? Uncomfortable is standing in line with your kids behind a gay dude wearing fishnet stockings and high heels.

Taking kids in to a bathroom where mo's are having group sex is some next level sh**. But here we are.

Epcot is pretty park to go to, even without kids.
Epcot was created to give parents the excuse of getting sh** faced in 10 different simulated countries while simultaneously punishing their children with the most boring attractions Disney has to offer.

Someone at Disney, at some point, had their sh** together.

Nah EPCOT was awesome when I was a kid, right now the kid-oriented rides are clearly showing their age though. Soarin', Test Track, and Spaceship Earth are some of the coolest rides at Disney.

Animal Kingdom is the park that's a snooze, there's two interesting rides and the wait times are 2 hours for each ride on a normal day.

Yeah I loved trying all the different Coca-Cola from all over the world, and loved the future cars ride.

At the time (late 90's, early 2000's) Disney only had a couple of true roller coasters like six flags, not sure if that's changed.

I watched an episode of the Mandalorian at a friends house during a swim party the other day.

The show is good.... but I felt icky for even watching it.

Still won't get a subscription from me...... I find ways to watch sports without ESPN even.

Gay days aren't just gay people walking around enjoying the parks like everyone else. We had a bad experience at WDW during gay days as well. And the staff told us they weren't allowed to do anything about it.

Do not plan a once-in-a-lifetime trip to WDW during gay days. It's not good. Adults who can't grow up have ruined it for kids.

Soarin and Spaceship Earth are lame.

Test Track and the Guardians of the Galaxy ride are great, but otherwise Epcot is a drag.

Universal is better than Disney.

I lived in Midtown Atlanta for a while. The Pride parade was a big deal. My young former neighbor (just out of college age hottie) came in town and I hung around with her and some of her gay friends for the Pride parade. Mostly tame, but as the day wore on, we went to a bar.

Bunch of dudes with the shirts off and rubbing each other. After I saw my third or so ***** and other lewd acts, I told her, "sorry, I'm out. My tolerance has reached it's limit." This was still daytime. I can't imagine having kids seeing that stuff. Of course, you wouldn't take them to a bar, but it was starting to occur in the streets too. And you can only imagine night time.

No thank you.

This right here is why we won't be going back. Way too many adults hanging out at Disney parks. Creepy AF and it destroys kid's good time in a multitude of ways.

This is a recycled story. The LGBTQ community wanted her to come out is Frozen 2. Disney already said no.
Elsa has magical abilities, so she's already doomed to hell as a witch. I'm not seeing how possibly being gay could make her situation worse.

I'm actually OK with Disney doing this because it is at night after the park would normally be closed.

They are generating easy revenue, but my hope is that it keeps the day more family friendly and asexual.

Disney said no to her coming out in Frozen 2. They can't change their mind? They already set up the story.
