Trump doesn't think DeSantis has kicked them in the balls. He's rooting on Disney.

DeSanctus is being absolutely destroyed by Disney. His original P.R. plan fizzled, so now he's going back with a new one in order to save face. Disney's next move will be the announcement that no more money will be invested in Florida because of the Governor - In fact, they could even announce a slow withdrawal or sale of certain properties, or the whole thing. Watch! That would be a killer. In the meantime, this is all so unnecessary, a political STUNT! Ron should work on the squatter MESS!

Why does a longtime child geared theme park and company make any sex attraction nights?

They also have Valentine's theme nights for couples. Weird, right?
Yes, it is weird. As are adults who go to Disney without kids.
Its super common. I've done it with my wife - not a whole trip but certainly as a small part of a larger trip.

And don't forget that especially Disneyland is right there in LA. Tons and tons of locals that do this as a date night.

You do realize that they've got tons of grown up stuff to do there, right? It's not all Dumbo and Small World.
I realize it is common. It is still weird. There are a lot of weird people in this world including on Texags. Sorry for those who went to Disney on their honeymoon. That is more than just weird.

Years ago...before there were official "Pride Nights" my wife was in DFW with my daughter seeing a doctor and later she took her to Six Flags.

And, yes, there is such a thing as a Gaydar...and it's harmless...but her's was pinging the whole time and she was feeling pretty self-conscious about it.

Later when they checked into the hotel they mentioned that they had been to Six Flags and only then did they find out it was an un-official Pride Night.

It was long enough ago it probably wasn't even called Pride anything.

This is a recycled story. The LGBTQ community wanted her to come out is Frozen 2. Disney already said no.
Disney said no to her coming out in Frozen 2. They can't change their mind? They already set up the story.

By your logic, they've also set up a torrid relationship between Steve Rogers and Tony Stark.

And people wonder why DeSantis won't win the White House in 2024...Trumpists eat this **** up. They'll never vote for "Desanctimonious" (so f'ing stupid)--will either skip the election or vote for Newsom, as their dear leader tells them to do.

One thing that I hadn't thought about with DeSantis is that Donald Trump, Jr. is just waiting in the wings to run for President over several elections well into the future. It pays well...

Remember, Walt Disney World has been open since 1971. The resort has changed dramatically since that time.

In the past two decades, the visitor base that once comprised families with young children who live in the Eastern half of the U.S. has shifted to one that caters to young adults from around the world, buying $30 mouse ears and showing off their Tinkerbell tattoos.

There is a huge subculture out there that is obsessed with everything Disney -- Disnerds -- and they are far more influential than families who visit for a week every three years.

At the same time, cast members are no longer primarily retirees who are working part-time. Young people flock to Orlando to work there, often living five and six in an apartment and sharing a car to try and make ends meet. Think theater majors who love dressing up in costumes and role-playing. The employee base has a strong gay contingent and Orlando itself is very welcoming to gays.

In essence, the Walt Disney Resort is rapidly transforming from a vacation spot for families from Georgia to a "lifestyle choice" that is increasingly hostile to children.

Disney could make decisions to change that, but they don't.

I am a Disney shareholder, a long-time visitor to the parks and someone with family members who worked as cast members. I don't think I will ever go back.

A fantasy land designed for children is promoting an agenda that culminates in preying on children? Who could have seen that!?

But for real, Disney has made their agenda known. They should receive zero dollars from concerned citizens regardless of voting pattern.
Posted this before.

June 2013. My wife and I took our sons (7 and 4 at the time) to Disneyworld. We got to Magic Kingdom early as we had early entrance for staying in a Disney resort. We were with two other families with similar aged kiddos. I was standing with our stuff while the moms were getting organized and a plane flew overhead pulling a banner that said "Parents beware, it's Gay Day at Disneyworld". I kind of had a WTF moment then looked down on that massive parking lot and noticed that the busses were dumping out literally hundreds, no thousands, of people wearing mostly red or blue t-shirts.

Spare you most of the details. What happened after that was one of most f'd up things I have ever witnessed in my life. I simply could not believe that adults would swarm a place that is by design for kids and families, dressed as they were and acting the way they did. The shirts alone were atrocious. It could never have entered my brain that I would have my seven year old son ask me what was meant by a picture of a burger with an arrow pointing to the meat patty and the caption "I would like to be there" was supposed to mean. Or the personalized shirts with phone numbers and what to text for certain sex acts. And even worse.

Shortly after noon, after riding Splash Mountain, I took my young sons to use the bathroom under said attraction. The bathroom was filled with gay men and the stalls in the back were packed with groups of men and you could clearly see their phones held up high filming "whatever" was going on in the stall. I stood behind my sons while they peed then marched them out and declared to our group we were leaving.

I'm not intending this post to paint all gays with a broad brush. I had a stack of fast passes for Space Mountain and we were leaving so I walked up to a group of what were nicely dressed, clean cut, but clearly gay men (they looked like FBI agents lol) and gave them our passes since we were leaving. They were cool and a couple apologized for all the bullsh** they were well aware was going on. Peace out.

Anyway, can't deny the lasting impact it had on my wife and I and of course our sons. Worst public behavior I have ever seen but I'll never get over how so many adults could so brazenly conduct themselves as such at place meant for kids, parents, and families to make memories.

i started out pretty typical christian conservative on the issue, moved a little more libertarian over the last 10 years or so.

then i got to be around a few people and befriend some that live a hedonistic lifestyle with gratuitous sex and were very open about it. i'd be disgusted at a hetero male or woman speaking or acting the same way. one of my coworkers started feeling a little too loose and talked about how much he loves giving fellatio to whoever. He also asked me about the spread of monkeypox (he really had no idea) and didn't like my answer and reported me to HR.

i am not under the impression that it's the norm for the majority of gay people. i'm certain it's not because i know some guys who have a great marriage and have been monogamous since college.

that being said, i was wrong and the slope was slippery. i'm now pretty fascist about it.

Few years back, we were planning a trip in June to DW. A gay dude that my wife worked with warned her not to go the first week of june. Gay pride week. Glad we took his advice.

we're not there yet. Minor Attracted People haven't been embraced entirely by a political party, so we still have a little more runway.

while i was a "christian conservative" on the issue, i thought "y'all are being ridiculous. they just want to get married to share benefits, have medical rights, tax breaks, etc. I don't like or agree with it, but let them marry. It's not going to lead to pedophiles and bestiality."

I'm 100% convinced Elsa was coming out as a lesbian until this event. I'm sure they're taking stock and trying to decide on next moves. Disney has been building up side stories in movies for awhile now. I'm absolutely certainly they were waiting to make their first premier gay character the one that would have the greatest influence on young girls across the world.

I think they'll hedge their bet and have the first main gay character be in a new movie with no connection to other movies. That way if it bombs they can just sweep it under the rug.

He made a pass at me early on when I was working there but quickly learned that was unappreciated.

It's a small company with mostly conservative Christians but we've always made it a home for him. I think the last few years emboldened him.

After he made his HR complaint my boss said if it's between losing him and taking a lawsuit or keeping me, he welcomed the law suit. Right around the same time he was posting about the drag show in San Antonio that got a bit of press. He brought up that him going on about that was more harmful than one guy in the company telling a gay guy monkeypox was spreading through gay sex.

That kinda shut him up.

He's been good since that incident.

I read an interesting article about Disney and this topic a while ago. Back when Eisner was CEO they were in a rough stretch financially and realized how popular the company is with the gay community. They also realized that the behavior and pride stuff doesn't jive with their most profitable customer segment in families. At the time they hosted unofficial pride nights which were basically private events at the water parks after hours. It worked because you essentially got the pride night revenue without it overlapping with normal operations.

If I were CEO I don't know how I would manage this. As a parent I would intentionally avoid June. I don't know what it's like now but the summer used to be rough with all of the rich Brazilian tour groups

Because in our new "woke" Society of inclusivity, Disneyland is no longer for families and children.

And very soon, families and children will not be welcomed as they become more "woke".

Yeah, ignore that building a replica of Disney World in Georgia would probably cost billions. Don't even think about all the land and property that Disney currently operates in Florida, either.

If you ever wonder why we are 30+ trillion in debt, remember idiots like Jon Cryer are the majority of the Democrat party. No understanding at all of actual paying for stuff...
