So how come Oz and Kari could have won easily if they were the democrat nominee, but didn't as Republicans?

"Do you believe the 2020 election was stolen?"

Non base Voters have proven they want to move on. But loyalty to trump requires that you answer that question in required fashion.

Kari Lake took the bait. You know who did not? Glenn Youngkin, Brian Kemp, and Ron DeSantis.

DeSantis believes that 2020 was stolen. What happened to y'all? It's like y'all have all forgotten everything.

Youngkin came out to Arizona to stump for Kari. Some of you are so deep now in the Trump hate your acting like democrats.
They are Democrats.

What democrat policy positions do they hold?
Your reading comprehension is terrible! He wasn't talking about the candidates, he was talking about the action of the posters.
I've been called lots of things. Democrat has never been one of them
How about squishy concerned moderate who is schizophrenic in their take on Republican candidates and threatens to take their toys and go home if they don't get their way?
Nope, not that either. You must be new here.

As Ives said for the last several months. Trumps base is intact. But that's the only thing intact. Trump will top out at 40-43% of the popular vote and Biden will get 310 electoral votes against Trump. It'll be a Obama Romney style ass kicking.

Trump will be lucky to poll 25% with independents by 2024.

Ok so now do DeSantis?

FL Women - Trump lost Florida women by 3 in 2020 and DeSantis won them by 7 points in 2022.
FL Hispanics - Trump lost them by 7 in 2020 and DeSantis won them by 15 points.
FL Independents - Trump lost by 11 in 2020 and DeSantis won by 8 in 2022.

Most likely scenarios:
1. Trump is indicted and becomes a political prisoner to a corrupt justice system. He supports DeSantis.
2. Trump is acquitted and DeSantis decides not to run because of wife's health. He waits to throw support behind Trump till after he has cleaned out the other candidates.

Many people have said if Oz was the democrat candidate and Fetterman was the republican candidate Oz would've destroyed Fetterman so how can that be? That's what I'm asking.

Lobbyist jobs must be easy to come by.

Every link you posted (including democrats.org haha) showed that DeSantis made a last minute endorsement of those candidates. He was a good Republican teammate but they were not his first choice.

They were Trump's. He values celebrity and flash over substance and sought out a TV doctor, local TV anchor and a football player to be the picks for the most important races of the midterms. Bad picks and probably a clear example of how Trump will perform in 2024 in Arizona, Penn and Georgia. Close losses to a terrible opponent.

….yea I wouldn't. But that didn't happen and it was fairly obvious weeks out that Walker and Oz would lose and that Lake had a decent chance of losing.

With inflation at 9%, the Afghanistan catastrophe, and woke mobs, each state should have performed like Florida in the midterms. Especially Arizona, Penn and Georgia considering how bad the Dem nominees were.

The fact those races were fumbled is a testament to how poorly organized and strategic the Trump Republican wing is.

They weren't fumbled it's not like they got shellacked that's like saying you lost by three points but you got your ass kicked no that's not how it works. Yes, I know a loss is a loss but a win is a win.

And the Cult of Trump will just think its the greatest thing ever said.

They want to burn down the GOP and the country just to give their orange god one last chance to lose an election and then claim it was stolen.
It is off base to Mae a comment that Trump supports are intent with a "burn down the country" strategy. That is as off based as the woke crowd. I will vote for the Republican nominee but your opinion shows you got that "vote with my feelings" thing going on. If wanting someone to address corruption in politics is a "cult", then sign me up.

How was it off base? Trump seems to believe it!

He is saying that his supporters won't vote for DeSantis for ANY office if he dares to run against Trump for president! So if DeSantis runs for Senate one day, they will just stay home and let the democrat win? Sounds like rapier is right over target.

If the Aggies were playing for the playoff (so season on the line) and were playing a Miss St team that had lost their QB and starting RB before the game and then lost by 3, you wouldn't be giving the coach a pass. The nicest thing you'd have to say was that he fumbled the game plan.

FACTS: The States and candidates that focused on Biden's failures and ditched the Trump loyalty have dominated their elections

The States and candidates that allowed the media to link them to Trump or offered their fealty to him, allowed the worst Dem administration in 45 years off the hook.

Youngkin, Kemp, DeSantis, all kept their eye on the ball.

Mastriano, Lake, and others all let Trump control their narrative.

What three elections did he lose? He only ran n two and won one.
2018, 2020, 2022

Trump's actions and endorsements cost Republicans dearly
So, he lost elections he didn't run in.

That's even past CNN level.
True he wasn't on the ballot in 2 of them, but he was the face of those two election cycles. A president is always responsible for off year congressional elections, and last year his high profile candidates in PA, GA and AZ dominated news coverage. All went down.
To me this is where it ends. He will never again win a national election. If he can't do that, he's just wasting our time.
Off year elections almost always go against the sitting president. Even Obama.

It's just a dumb statement to make.

the lack of self-awareness is unbelievable here.
