I completely understood his meaning of "59-62 seat majority" to not mean 59 v 62. Mainly because most people are smart enough to know there's only 100 seats.
And others are even smarter and more experienced to not leave anything up to interpretation.

I think its comical when folks question my intelligence. Hint, I am almost certainly more intelligent than substantially all of the posters on this board.

But you do you.

Constantly hating on Trump is low IQ, and that just doesn't fit with me.
Are you getting your responses from ChatGPT? Cause your responses are so amazingly intelligent that I just don't know what to do with myself.
Yea, the day you find fka ftc using Chat GPT.

I could make a living just pointing out ChatGPT responses.

The really fun part out is that I don't need for you to believe me, nor do i care if you believe me.

I am perfectly content with knowing its the truth.

Like I said earlier DeSantis has endorsed the exact same candidates as Trump not one exception as far as I can remember. Now Ted Cruz on the other hand has not.

Uh, he is alienating a big portion of people who once supported him. He keeps it up, and all that will be left is the diehard cult members. Trump is not the end all be all he thinks he is.

If you only look through the lens of Forum 16, you would be right, but this isn't a real sampling of how it is in reality across the country . Trump support is just as high as it was in 2020 as it is now , has he lost some supporters? yes but not enough to make a dent.
Strongly disagree. I know many who have turned on him.

I'm sure you do. I know plenty as well, but those are anecdotal instances they don't amount to anything in the grand scheme of things.

Okay. Well what (non-anecdotal) metric are you using to support your claim?
I'm sure the independents and CM who didn't vote for him in 2020 are all going to be super pumped to vote for him when he has 3-4 indictments pending.
don't forget there is no doubt that Trump has greatly expanded his voting base by having dinner at his home with Kanye West and Nick Fuentes

that he selected and backed losers all over the country in 2022

that he was impeached for the 6 January protests

all of this has happened AFTER he already lost a national election to Basement Biden.

but sure, the DeSantis supporters never post reasoned analytical posts...

Hah. I'd forgotten about that. Trump makes the worst possible decisions when it comes to optics.

Well than to Charpie's point. I'm less likely to vote for anyone you support based off of both your interactions here and the wheels off candidates you have previously associated your name with.

That's a pretty immature thing to do and very unwise.

So you will not support Ken Paxton, Ted Cruz, John Kennedy, Jim Jordan and many others simply because I support them?

Unwise. Do you even read what you write? I actually said "less likely to vote", because yeah you have a tendency to support wheels off nut cases. So anyone you attach your name to, to me while require some increased scrutiny.

Edit: I'm sorry "very unwise".

But you're wrong. Even DeSantis endorsed and campaigned for Kari. He came to Arizona and held a huge fundraiser for her. So why are you not criticizing DeSantis?

But it's easy to bash on her cause she "lost" but even still she barely lost. It's not like she got smoked.

A loss is a loss...that's a loser's mentality..well we lost but barely...come on that reeks of desperation and you are better than that.

LMAO

The left fears Trump THIS MUCH.

What three elections did he lose? He only ran n two and won one.
2018, 2020, 2022

Trump's actions and endorsements cost Republicans dearly
So, he lost elections he didn't run in.

That's even past CNN level.
True he wasn't on the ballot in 2 of them, but he was the face of those two election cycles. A president is always responsible for off year congressional elections, and last year his high profile candidates in PA, GA and AZ dominated news coverage. All went down.
To me this is where it ends. He will never again win a national election. If he can't do that, he's just wasting our time.
Off year elections almost always go against the sitting president. Even Obama.

It's just a dumb statement to make.

You can't reason with these people. I speak with many DeSantis supporters on a weekly basis in the circles of consulting and they are level headed and mature unlike what you read on here. Very complimentary of Trump and have no hate they just believe Ron is the better choice but don't have this anger that you see here.

Don't bring facts in here. The haters only want to focus on just 3-4 of the races where it helps spin their narrative that Trump endorsed candidates got beat.

The Senate is 51-49
Trump endorsed Herschel Walker in a State with a red Governor who was extremely popular.
Trump endorsed Dr Oz running against a literal brain dead candidate.

It is wholly appropriate to look at who Trump endorsed in battleground States when judging if he has the stuff to win in 2024.

It's pretty easy to endorse MTG and Matt Gaetz.
Senate lost one seat. Was 50-50
House won a majority
Trump was NOT on the ballot

But TRUMP LOST A NATIONAL ELECTION.

Sit back and think about your logic there.

I know damn well a loss is a loss but when you barely lose there is a great chance that you can win if you try it again. Reagan lost to Ford in 76 then what happened?

Her loyalty to Trump cost her. Everyone's loyalty to trump costs them. The press knows exactly which buttons to push.

"Do you believe the 2020 election was stolen?"

Non base Voters have proven they want to move on. But loyalty to trump requires that you answer that question in required fashion.

Kari Lake took the bait. You know who did not? Glenn Youngkin, Brian Kemp, and Ron DeSantis.

DeSantis believes that 2020 was stolen. What happened to y'all? It's like y'all have all forgotten everything.

Youngkin came out to Arizona to stump for Kari. Some of you are so deep now in the Trump hate your acting like democrats.

DeSantis hasn't said anything about the 2020 election being stolen. He campaigned for clowns like Lake and Mastriano (after the primaries) because he knew they were still better than the dem alternative, but unless you have a link to something different I don't see anywhere that he's said anything else about 2020. Which is the smart thing to do because it's a guaranteed losing topic.

Well, Wisconsin, Ohio in North Carolina or battleground states. And we haven't even mentioned many of the congressional districts that don't lean Republican that had Trump endorsements that won.

And of course we won back the House

Ohio seems pretty solidly red at this point (will know for sure with the 24 senate election) but I'll give you NC and Wisconsin, even though Johnson was an incumbent. What swing house districts did his endorsements win? Can think of a couple off the top of my head that flipped blue because his people pushed out the moderate Republican.
