The politically smart know what's going on. The big money is all going to DeSantis. Trump is getting small retail. Trump wants DeSantis to bow out so that money has no where to go but him.

Trump also knows he's getting indicted in Georgia. If a viable alternative exists when that indictment is handed down, Trump is in trouble.

Crap like this just shows how Trump can't help but shoot himself in the foot. To break this down:

He is making yet another veiled threat to DeSantis not to run because he will "divide" the Party (which of course he implies HE owns and anyone opposing him is "dividing" the Party). He says that DeSantis needs to stay Governor of Florida which also shows he thinks he is a good Governor of Florida who has done a good job, which is in direct contrast to his previous comments against DeSantis. Of course he also references polls that are irrelevant to anyone that knows anything about politics at this stage, he was single digits himself in 2015 against the mighty Jeb!

He also isn't paying attention to what is happening out there, even at his own rally. Attacking DeSantis is not good for him. It pushes people away because outside of Laura Loomer and a few others no one hates DeSantis and people love what he has done in Florida even if they would prefer Trump. He needs to keep his focus on Biden and treat DeSantis the same as if he were Haley or Vivek and as if they aren't serious threats to him. Talk about Biden and the Democrats on policy and use the attention you have from your legal issues to do so. As a DeSantis guy that would be far more threatening than him making these weird pseudo threats against DeSantis.
