FWIW several of the East Coast states that are tiny should be combined and should have been combined long ago. Connecticut and Rhode Island should be part of Mass, as it stands they get 6 Senators for a small piece of land without many people who are culturally very similar and vote almost identically.shack009 said:aggie93 said:

My ESPN friend tells me Ct is mostly a series of suburban towns with very high crime rates and filled with people like Aaron Hernandez who was born in Bristol.

Ehh sort of, it's more like one small town that never ends. As soon as you're theoretically out of one town you're already in the next. The distribution of people is just totally different than anything you see in Texas. It's extremely population dense overall but there's not a lot of city and there's basically no vast unused space.
