At trial, Mr. Trump's lawyers will be likely to point out that Mr. Cohen already pleaded guilty to federal crimes involving not only the hush-money payment but also lying about a Trump hotel deal in Moscow.

But Mr. Costello would disagree. Mr. Cohen and Mr. Costello were introduced in 2018, when Mr. Cohen was facing the federal investigation into the hush money and the men spent hours meeting and speaking by phone.

In one of those discussions, Mr. Cohen said it was his idea to pay the hush money, Mr. Costello said he told the grand jury on Monday.

Apparently they were filming some kind of award for Adam Sandler and Chris Rock got up in front of the audience that included Pelosi and said "Democrats want to arrest Trump? Are you really that stupid? You're only going to make him more popular...like when they arrested Tupac!"

That wouldn't surprise me. I've always got that impression about him.

Many of those guys from the mid 90's SNL cast like Sandler, Farley, Spade, Norm, Carvey, Schneider have always had more of a 'moderate' demeanor about them. They made fun of everyone and didn't goal tend for the Dems like many comedians. It also appears that Chris Rock isn't nearly as far left as others either.

There is really no need to take his passport because he is not a flight risk. He could've already left because he knows the charges are coming. He's also turning himself in.
