Wouldn't that be something if Dems depend on Fetterman's proxy votes for 6 years while no one knows if he's even alive or conscious.

Because people hate carpetbaggers and that's what Oz was. He had no business being the PA GOP Senate nominee. That loss is squarely at Trump's feet.fixer said:
How in the hell did this guy get elected?
Absolute stammering idiocy by the voters.
All of the people that voted for Sheila Jackson Lee moved to Pennsylvania before the election....that put him over the top. They are currently on their way back down here to the Tine...fixer said:

all Dem efforts go towards obtaining mail-in ballots and none go towards earning peoples' actual votes anymore. Don't have to be popular. Don't have to be likeable. Don't have to be smart or articulate. Don't have to excite the voter base to make an effort and exercise their right to vote. The foreign and out of state donor base will take care of funding the NGOs whose job is getting enough ballots counted.fixer said:

As far as I know, Donald Trump did not cast a single vote in that election.Quote:

Never said he was. But he was a carpetbagger and Trump put a huge amount of effort into getting Oz the GOP nomination and Trump ain't exactly winning popularity contests in PA.fixer said:Irish 2.0 said:Because people hate carpetbaggers and that's what Oz was. In general, if you walk into the booth with all the knowledge available to you at that point about Fetterman's health, and still vote for him vs Oz, then that says more about "you" than Trump and/or Oz.
Oz was a poor candidate. Sure. But he wasn't the devil incarnate either.
I thought I read somewhere that if the Senator dies before a certain time, it triggers a special election before anyone is appointed.Irish 2.0 said:
If he is brain dead, the PA governor will just appoint some other dumbass brain dead democrat in his place. There will be no special election. It is an appointment

This is truly disingenuous. Trump threw his political backing behind Oz. A person with no ties to the state until he registered to vote there in 2020. It should have been McCormick. Instead the carpetbagger couldn't even beat a brain dead fatardEllis Wyatt said:As far as I know, Donald Trump did not cast a single vote in that election.Quote:

I think if they are going to cheat, they make Fetterman be brain-alive for a bit longer.akm91 said:
Don't worry. The Dems will just change the laws or use the courts to make sure the governor gets to appoint the replacement.
I heard similar that if its confirmed he can't continue that it has to be before August, otherwise it will trigger a governor appointment.Science Denier said:I thought I read somewhere that if the Senator dies before a certain time, it triggers a special election before anyone is appointed.Irish 2.0 said:

If Dems have to throw up a new candidate for a special election in 3-4 months, Dr. Oz will win that one.
That could have been wrong, though. I have no idea what their laws are.
Oz wouldn't win.Science Denier said:I thought I read somewhere that if the Senator dies before a certain time, it triggers a special election before anyone is appointed.Irish 2.0 said:

soooo many issues with Oz.. but not one issue with stroked out brain damaged socialist. nope. none.TXAGFAN said:Not the same thing.oh no said:
new yorkers didn't care when Hillary Clinton carpet bagged to become a senator... but Pennsylvanians were super outraged by the very smart and well spoken famous doctor who was educated in PA, had lived there previously, and was living there for three years as-of the election because he's a carpet bagger!!! A brain damaged socialist to the left of Bernie who was a failed mayor of **** town and whose proudest moments were pulling a shotgun on a black man jogging down the street and emptying the PA prisons while Lt. Gov- that's the best choice for the US Senate for the next 6 years!!! uh, no. mail in ballot obtaining is what drives elections now.
Dr Oz is not Hillary. His carpetbagging was ONE of many issues.
Hillary carpetbagged in a blue state. Oz was a toss-up state that is steeped very very heavily in blue collar workers. You think a rich TV personality that the bare minimum in terms of ties to the state was a good idea? This is by no means a defense of Fetterman. This is calling out the horrible strategy of Trump and the PA GOP.oh no said:
